Proverbs 3:5-6 ERV
Trust the Lord completely, and don’t depend on your own knowledge. With every step you take, think about what he wants, and he will help you go the right way.

Good morning and praise God. I hope you are having a great morning. Today's message is simple but at the same time challenging to us. "Trust the Lord completely and don't depend on your own knowledge..." To illustrate this well, put yourself in patriarch Joseph's shoes. Your brothers hate you, they plan to kill you, then they opt to sell you. You reject sin and you're jailed. In jail you help someone and they forget you. Would you personally see God in all this and trust Him still without ever complaining or even opting to sin and free yourself from the bondage of being 'too spiritual' or 'too godly'? Brethren it takes the grace and hand of God to practically trust the Lord completely. To do it partially might be easier but remember God does not share His glory with anyone and therefore we cannot trust Him partially and expect to be guided on the right way. The Psalmist gives us a key to help us '...with every step you take, think about what he wants.' What God want is clear to us but we must take the effort to put it into practice. We must take time with His Word, devote ourselves in prayers and fellowship like the first apostles. It will not happen just like that, actually what is easy whilst we are in this flesh and blood is conforming to patterns and ways of this world. The Bible warns us against that! Romans 12:2 'Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.' Do you see the same wisdom from the proverb repeated here? My prayer this morning is that we'll trust God completely. Let what you know not fret you but instead trust completely in God who created you. May His grace be sufficient for you as you and I do this. God bless you, have a blessed day. Shalom. Shalom.
