John 10:27-28 ESV
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.
Good morning and praise God. I hope you're having a great Sunday morning. Today, I have a question for you. Have you ever desired to hear God speak to you? Did He speak to you or are you still trying to figure out how to hear from Him? Moses the man chosen by God to lead Israelites from Egypt to Canaan had God speak with him first through nature. A burning bush. It also happens today, look at how you're created and how everything around you. One time David did this and marveled. He said, I will praise my God for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. However, it doesn't end there. Our creator did not just create us and then distanced Himself from us. When Moses heard from God, he knew it would be difficult for people to believe God had spoken to him and sent him. "Exodus 4:11 ERV Then the Lord said to him, “Who made a person’s mouth? And who can make someone deaf or not able to speak? Who can make a person blind? Who can make a person able to see? I am the one. I am the Lord. " God wasn't so happy with Moses doubts and fear that people would believe him. Moses was so much into what people would say when he tell them that God had spoken and sent him. Jesus retaliate same message this morning telling us that those that belongs to Him hears him, He knows them and they follow Him. He gives them eternal life,they will never perish and no one will snatch them out of His hands. Does this speak to you? Are you a child of God through Jesus Christ? It is by your decision to listen and hear God speak to you. You do not necessarily need someone to tell you what God is saying to you, you can actually hear Him speak by yourself! It is true sometimes He will speak through others to you but the best is when you have that one on one talk with Him.
