PREACH TO PLEASE GOD
1Thessalonians 2:4
But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts.
It’s very easy to always preach the gospel to please God as ministers of the New Covenant, of the Spirit and not the letter. The question you should always ask yourself as a minister of the gospel is, who sent me and who would I account to? This two questions will give undivided focus.
Remember Christ is the one who sent you and to him shall you render an account of your labor. Don’t seek to be in the good books of men, because you’ll be judged by the book of God. Please God at all times. Both in your service to God and in your ambassadorial mission of preaching the gospel.
Prayer: I am an ambassador of the gospel and my mission shall be executed to please God. The strength of the Lord shall always keep me going. Thank you Jesus for the privilege to preach the gospel of life.
Further study: Galatians 1:10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
