*HOW WELL DO YOU VALUE YOUR WORDS?*

Mark 6:26
And the king was exceeding sorry; yet for his oath's sake, and for their sakes which sat with him, he would not reject her.

Possessing the nature of God is the greatest thing we can ever have as his children but some don’t want to live like it. How well do you treasure your words? Herod valued his words so when her stepdaughter requested for the head of the prophet he was compelled to offer it. Today we don’t have men who keep their words in the church and no wonder we can’t walk with God faithfully.

You need to put premium on your own utterances and do away with lying tongue. Sugarcoating people won’t take you anywhere but into destruction. When you promise someone, do it. You dare not claim you have forgotten. How dare you to forget your own promises when you’re a child of God. Has God ever forgotten his promises before? No!

Prayer: Father, I can’t fail to reveal your true nature to the world. Have your way in me. I will value and treasure my words from today like never before, for I am a king.

Further study: Then the LORD said to me, "You have seen well, for I am watching over my word to perform it." (Jeremiah 1:12, ESV)
