Beloved, the call to repentance is not a call to shame, but a call back to life. God, in His mercy, is still reaching out, still knocking, still drawing hearts back to Himself. Repentance is the doorway through which we return to His loving arms. “Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out” (Acts 3:19).
But we must remember: the rapture will not wait for anyone. Scripture says it will come suddenly, without warning—“in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet” (1 Corinthians 15:52). There will be no time to get ready then; the time to prepare is now. Jesus is returning for a people who are watching, waiting, and walking in holiness. “Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of Man cometh” (Matthew 24:44).
Let your heart be free of anything that will hold you back. Lay aside bitterness, secret sins, compromise, and every weight. Today is the day of repentance. Today is the day of salvation. “Now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation” (2 Corinthians 6:2).
Return to the Lord while the door of grace is still open, so that when the trumpet sounds, you will rise with the redeemed and not be left behind. “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout… and the dead in Christ shall rise first” (1 Thessalonians 4:16–17).
