God Has Been With You All the Way
Scripture
Deuteronomy 2:7 (NKJV)
For the Lord your God has blessed you in all the work of your hand. He knows your trudging through this great wilderness. These forty years the Lord your God has been with you; you have lacked nothing.
God’s Faithfulness in Every Season
In this verse, Moses reminds Israel of a powerful truth: even in the wilderness—during the hardest, driest, and most confusing years—God never left them. He blessed their work. He saw their struggles. He walked with them every step of the journey. And He made sure they lacked nothing. The wilderness was difficult, but they were never abandoned.
For believers today, this verse encourages us to look back and remember God’s faithfulness. He knows our struggles. He sees the burdens we carry. He understands the long, tiring seasons. And through it all, He provides. Even when the path is difficult, God is present. Even when we feel empty, He sustains us. Even when we wander, He leads us.
This verse teaches us that our wilderness seasons are not wasted—God is working, guiding, and providing, ensuring we lack nothing essential.
