As the Jubilee of Youth came to a close—an event first envisioned by Pope Francis and now brought to fulfillment under the pontificate of Pope Leo XIV—more than 120,000 young people gathered in a powerful witness of faith and hope for today’s world.

The participants, all members of the Neocatechumenal Way, traveled from 109 countries across five continents to take part in this historic gathering on August 4. The meeting took place in the same location where the Holy Father welcomed the young pilgrims, and was marked by a spirit of joy, renewal, and missionary zeal.

The event was presided over by the International Responsible Team of the Way: Kiko Argüello, María Ascensión Romero, and Father Mario Pezzi, who encouraged the young people to respond generously to God’s call and to be signs of hope in a world in need of peace and reconciliation.
