- Our generation is not the first to shout heresy at the message of grace—what many now call “hyper-grace.”
The irony is that most people who attack this message have never truly listened to it or tried to understand it. Their reactions are mostly emotional. They think they are protecting the gospel, but in truth, they are fighting against it.
They accept parts of the gospel that fit their logic and reject the parts that stretch their understanding. For example, they say, “Your sins are forgiven when you’re saved, but you still have to deal with the sin nature by praying through.”
According to that logic, the new creation that results from being in Christ doesn’t affect the sin nature. In other words, they’re saying that Jesus’ sacrifice didn’t deal with man’s sinful nature—man must fix himself.
But Scripture is clear: a sinner is reborn through faith in the finished work of Christ. Salvation doesn’t just clean the surface; it deals with the root—the sin nature itself. What remains is the believer’s responsibility to bring the flesh and its appetites under the control of his renewed spirit.
This same gospel of grace was the reason Paul was persecuted. The Jews feared he was discarding the Law of Moses, which they couldn’t let go of. They fought him for teaching that salvation and its sustenance rest entirely on faith in Christ.
When the elders and apostles in Jerusalem heard of the controversy, they invited Paul to explain his message. He presented it clearly before them, and after hearing him out, they agreed that his message was true. They urged him to continue preaching it among the Gentiles because they knew many Jews would never accept it.
Think about that: the early church leaders embraced Paul’s so-called “hyper-grace,” while the religious crowd rejected it and even tried to kill him. On one occasion, as Paul tried to reason with them, the Bible says they shut their ears and rushed at him violently. They wouldn’t even let him explain.
That same resistance still exists today.
Those who truly listen to and study this message know there’s nothing “hyper” about it. It is the simple, beautiful gospel of Jesus Christ.
I’ve listened to those who criticize it, and one thing stands out—they misunderstand it completely. They claim grace gives people a licence to sin. But no one needs a licence to sin; people sin freely without one.
If you compare churches that preach grace and those that preach holiness by fear, you’ll often find that those who understand grace live holier, freer lives. Grace doesn’t promote sin—it empowers holiness.
Yes, when new believers first hear this message, they may misunderstand it. But as they grow in grace and in the knowledge of Christ, they begin to understand. Their lives change from the inside out.
The message of grace doesn’t cage people in empty religion. It builds them up, matures them, and roots them deeply in their walk with Christ.
Let’s open our hearts to the Holy Spirit and let Him open our eyes to the truth of Christ. Then we will walk rightly and bear fruit consistent with God’s nature.
If this has blessed you, share your thoughts in the comments.

“To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” — Colossians 1:27
One of the greatest discoveries of my life was realizing that God lives in me. This has always been His desire—to dwell among His people and walk with them (2 Corinthians 6:16). God doesn’t want to be distant. He wants to live in you, walk with you, and share in your everyday life.
But for that to happen, sin had to be removed. Through Jesus Christ, God cleansed and renewed us, giving us new hearts and His Spirit (Ezekiel 36:24–29). Jesus became sin for us so that we might become God’s righteousness (2 Corinthians 5:21). When you receive Christ, the Holy Spirit comes to live in you, establishing God’s kingdom in your heart (Luke 17:21).
The Holy Spirit is the presence of Jesus in your life. He is the power of God at work within you—the fullness of heaven dwelling in your spirit. You are now God’s temple. His presence in you brings health, peace, victory, and divine protection. Nothing unclean has the right to stay in His dwelling place.
Be conscious of this truth: Christ in you is the hope of glory. The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives in you and gives life to your body (Romans 8:11). Trust the God inside you. Speak with Him. Yield to Him. Let Him reign in every area of your life.
I pray that you become deeply aware of this living Presence within you—that the Almighty God, your Healer, Provider, and Redeemer, will manifest Himself in your body, your home, your work, and your walk with Him. May you enjoy a deeper intimacy with the Holy Spirit and experience the boundless love of Jesus Christ.

- Uloma, The Woman Warrior: A Story of Strength, Faith and Sacrifice by John Onyekachi is a powerful true-life novel that follows the inspiring journey of Uloma-a young woman born during the Nigerian Civil War, who rose from deep personal loss to become a symbol of courage, resilience, and unwavering faith.
Widowed at just 26, with two little boys and an aged mother-in-law to care for, Uloma made a bold decision: to stay and fight for her children rather than return to her family and remarry, as tradition demanded. Through heartbreak, poverty, cultural pressure, and spiritual battles, she worked tirelessly-frying plantain chips, selling secondhand clothes, and praying through the night-all to give her children a future.
This moving story paints the picture of a woman who became more than a mother-she became a warrior. Uloma's life reminds us that strength isn't always loud, and heroes don't always wear capes. Sometimes, they wear aprons, carry firewood, and pray in silence.
Uloma, The Woman Warrior is a celebration of faith, motherhood, and the quiet sacrifices that build generations. A must-read for anyone who believes in the power of love, courage, and the human spirit.

When you study His life and ministry—especially through the epistles—you'll be amazed at the kind of person He truly was.
No wonder the disciples once looked at Jesus and asked each other, "Who is this?"
They clearly realized they didn’t really know Him as deeply as they thought.
I mean, how can you explain this?
Judas Iscariot leads a group of six hundred armed Roman soldiers and Temple police officers to arrest Jesus. Peter pulls out his dagger and slashes the high priest's servant's ear—Malchus.
But what did Jesus do?
He laid His hand on the young man’s bleeding ear—and created a new earlobe for him.
This was a man sent to arrest Him, yet Jesus healed and restored his ear.
Jesus wasn't bitter. Even in the face of betrayal, He still loved.
But that’s not all.
On the cross, just before taking His last breath, He looked over those heartless Roman soldiers who had mercilessly beaten Him and prayed,
"Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do."
And then there’s Peter—who not once or twice, but three times, denied ever knowing Jesus or having anything to do with Him.
Yet as soon as Jesus rose from the dead, the first person He remembered was the very one who denied Him. And He went out of His way to restore and reinstate him.
Jesus is altogether lovely.
This is why you can’t truly know Him and not fall in love with Him.

- You’re Still His: Why Your Identity in God Remains, Even When You Fall
We live in a results-driven world where performance often determines value — in the workplace, in society, and sadly, sometimes even in our spiritual walk. But when it comes to our relationship with God, the rules are beautifully different.
Sin affects our fellowship with God, but not our sonship.
Let me explain.
When you placed your faith in Jesus Christ, you were adopted into God’s family — not because you had it all together, but because Jesus paid the full price for your sins. That truth doesn’t change every time you make a mistake.
Yes, sin is serious. It damages our spiritual sensitivity. It clouds our joy. It creates distance. But it does not eject us from God’s family. It breaks fellowship, not relationship.
Think of it this way: if your child does something wrong, do they stop being your child? No. There may be tension. There may be a need for correction. But their identity as your child remains intact.
The same is true with our Heavenly Father.
Our place in God is secured by the finished work of Jesus — not by our perfection.
We don’t need to earn our way back. We don’t need to beg for restoration. The door to fellowship is still wide open, and God’s arms are always stretched out in love.
So if you’re reading this and you’ve drifted spiritually, let this be your reminder:
You are still His.
You are still loved.
You are still welcome.
Don't let guilt or shame keep you away. The sacrifice of Jesus covers every failure — past, present, and future.
In a world where everything feels performance-based, it’s refreshing to know that in God's economy, grace has the final say.
You belong. You are home.

- Help Us Renovate God’s House and Empower Evangelism at Kingdom Herald International
Dear Friends, Partners, and Kingdom-minded Believers,
We write to you today with hearts full of hope and purpose. At Kingdom Herald International, we believe in the power of God's love, the transforming presence of the Holy Spirit, and the mandate to reach the nations. As a faith and word-based mission church, our vision is clear: to communicate God’s love to all peoples through the demonstration of the power of the Holy Spirit and to transform lives and nations.
God has been using our ministry to touch hearts, heal lives, and bring light to our community. But today, we face a challenge—and an opportunity.
Why We Are Raising Funds
Our current church facility is in dire need of renovation. All the windows and door are broken resulting to unauthorised access to the facility,, the walls and floor need fresh plastering and paint, and the worship area is in desperate need of structural repair. These physical limitations not only disrupt our weekly services but hinder our outreach and evangelistic efforts in the community.
Additionally, we want to get a new set of sound and musical instruments. Clear sound and uplifting music are not luxuries—they are essential tools that carry the message of the gospel, that stir hearts in worship, and help create an atmosphere for God to move powerfully.
We are trusting God to raise ₦3,000,000 (3 million Naira) to:
Renovate and repair our church facility
Purchase sound and musical equipment (microphones, speakers, mixer, keyboard, etc.)
Support our weekly evangelistic outreaches with the tools needed to reach more souls effectively.
What Your Support Will Do
Your donation will do more than fix walls or purchase gear—it will:
* Create a safe and welcoming space where people can experience God
* Restore dignity and beauty to the house of worship
* Empower our worship and word ministry to operate with excellence
* Amplify the gospel during community outreaches and crusades
* Help us disciple more people in the power and love of Jesus Christ
Every naira you give is a seed into lives that will be transformed, families that will be healed, and souls that will be won for Jesus.
How You Can Help
Give whatever you can—no amount is too small.
Share this campaign with others who can help.
Pray with us for provision, protection, and purpose.
We’re not just renovating a building—we’re preparing a platform for revival.
Would you join us in this kingdom assignment?
Give today. Be part of what God is building.

- Is Speaking in Tongues Still Relevant Today or Did It Cease with the Apostles?
The question of whether speaking in tongues is still relevant today is one of the most debated topics in Christian circles. Some argue that tongues ceased with the early apostles, while others believe the gift continues today just as powerfully as in the early church. Let’s dive into the Scriptures and insights from respected ministers to find a clear, biblically grounded answer.
THE ARGUMENT AND ITS FLAWS
Some Christians, particularly from more conservative or reformed theological backgrounds, teach cessationism—the belief that spiritual gifts like tongues, healing, and prophecy ended with the apostles or the completion of the New Testament.
Proponents of this theory often cite 1 Corinthians 13:8–10: “Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease… But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.”
Cessationists interpret “that which is perfect” as the completed Bible.
However, many scholars and Spirit-filled ministers argue that this passage refers NOT to the Bible but to the second coming of Christ.
In that context, spiritual gifts will no longer be needed, but until then, they remain vital to the Church.
THE BIBLICAL PATTERN OF CONTINUITY
The book of Acts provides a consistent pattern of believers receiving the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues—Acts 2:4 (Jerusalem), Acts 10:44–46 (Cornelius’ household), and Acts 19:6 (Ephesus). At no point does Scripture suggest that this pattern was temporary.
“For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.”—Acts 2:39
This verse clearly shows that the gift of the Holy Spirit—including speaking in tongues—was not limited to the apostles but intended for all future generations of believers.

- FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS AND COMMON MISCONCEPTIONS ABOUT SPEAKING IN TONGUES
Chapter 1: What is Speaking in Tongues?
Speaking in tongues is one of the most fascinating and sometimes misunderstood experiences in the Christian faith. It is a supernatural ability given by the Holy Spirit to speak in tongues or languages never learned or understood by the speaker.
Sometimes, it could be a language spoken and understood by a certain people or nationality, but unknown to the speaker. While at other times, it can be a language not spoken or understood anywhere on earth.
It is speaking, by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, words or languages never learned by the speaker.
For many, it is an awe-inspiring, powerful, and deeply spiritual experience that signifies a deeper connection with God. For others, it can seem strange, confusing, or even unnecessary.
So, what exactly is speaking in tongues? Why is it such a significant part of the Christian faith, and what does the Bible say about it?
The Biblical Foundation of Speaking in Tongues
The concept of speaking in tongues, or “glossolalia,” is rooted deeply in Scripture, particularly in the book of Acts and in Paul’s letters to the Corinthians.
In Acts 2:4, when the Holy Spirit was poured out on the disciples at Pentecost, they began to speak in tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance:
“And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.”
This powerful moment marked the birth of the Church and the beginning of a new era of spiritual empowerment.
The apostles and others in the upper room experienced what many consider the “initial evidence” of the baptism in the Holy Spirit.
The disciples were not speaking their known languages; instead, they were speaking languages they had never learned, languages that were understood by the diverse crowd present in Jerusalem.
This was the beginning of speaking in tongues, which is a supernatural ability given to believers by the Holy Spirit. It is important to understand that this experience is not just an emotional expression; it is a spiritual gift, a heavenly language given by God to believers to edify themselves, to communicate with God, and to express their deepest prayers in a manner that transcends their natural understanding.
WHY DO BELIEVERS SPEAK IN TONGUES?
The primary purpose of speaking in tongues, according to Scripture, is to build up the believer spiritually.
In 1 Corinthians 14:4, Paul writes:
“He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church.” —1 Corinthians 14:4
Here, Paul makes it clear that speaking in tongues is a personal experience that benefits the individual believer. It is a way to commune with God, expressing prayers and praises in a language that bypasses the limitations of human understanding.
As Reverend Kenneth E. Hagin taught, “Speaking in tongues is one of the most powerful ways to build yourself up in the spirit. It strengthens your inner man and helps you to pray the perfect will of God.”
The apostle Paul also says in Romans 8:26 that the Holy Spirit helps believers in their weaknesses, interceding for them with “groanings which cannot be uttered” (Romans 8:26).
This is where speaking in tongues comes in—it allows believers to pray in a way that is aligned with God's perfect will when they don't know how or what to pray.
In addition to edifying the individual, speaking in tongues serves as a sign to unbelievers.
In 1 Corinthians 14:22, Paul explains that tongues can act as a sign to those who do not believe, drawing them to the reality of the supernatural power of God:
“Therefore tongues are for a sign, not to those who believe but to unbelievers…”—1 Corinthians 14:22
As we continue to explore this subject, we will address common misconceptions, how to receive the gift, and how to effectively use it in your Christian walk. Speaking in tongues is a powerful tool that builds your spirit, enables you to pray in God’s will, and strengthens your faith.
It is a gift worth embracing and understanding fully.

- Someone asked this question in a group to which I belong
"I'm a new believer and I have always been disturbed by the identity of Jesus Christ. Is He Son of God, or is Jesus Christ God please?"
My answer:
That's a great question, and you're not alone—many people, even long-time Christians, wrestle with this at some point.
The simple answer is: Jesus is both the Son of God and He is God.
Let me break it down in a down-to-earth way:
Think of it like this: God is so big and beyond us that He chose to reveal Himself in a way we could relate to—as a human being. That human is Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us that Jesus is God's Son, meaning He came from God and shares the same nature as God. But it also tells us that Jesus is God in human form—God stepping into our world in a way we can see, hear, and touch.
For example, in John 1:1, it says, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." Then later in John 1:14, it says, "The Word became flesh and lived among us." That “Word” is Jesus. So, Jesus is God who took on human flesh.
And when Jesus was baptized, God the Father spoke from heaven, and the Holy Spirit came down like a dove—this shows us that God is one, but exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—what Christians call the Trinity.
Actually, the phrase, "Son of God" means "God in human form." When Jesus confessed to the Jews of His day that He was the Son of God, they didn't understand it the same way we understand sonship today. To them, it meant more than that. Jesus, by saying He was the Son of God had admitted that He was Jehovah in human form. This was the reason they crucified Him.
They claimed that, as a mere man, He was making Himself equal with God. But in reality, Jesus was not trying to claim equality with God. He didn't have to "claim it" because He already is God (co-equal, co-eternal and co-existent with God).
You remember that after Jesus arose from death and appeared to His disciples who were locked up in a room for fear of the Jews, Thomas fell before Jesus and called Him, "my Lord and my God" (see John 20:28). Jesus didn't rebuke Thomas for calling Him "God."
Instead Jesus answered, “You believe because you have seen me. Blessed are those who believe without seeing me.” (John 20:29)
So, yes. Jesus is both God and the Son of God. He is the fullness of God revealed to humanity.
He is the visible representation of the invisible God.
So, in short:
* Jesus is the Son of God—He came from God and represents Him.
* Jesus is also God—not a separate god, but God Himself who came to us in human form.
It’s a deep truth, but as you grow in your faith and read the Bible more, it becomes clearer. And you don’t have to figure it all out at once—just keep following Jesus and asking questions like this!Someone asked this question in a group to which I belong 👇 "I'm a new believer and I have always been disturbed by the identity of Jesus Christ.
