In every city, town, and village, one cannot help but notice the multitude of groups that call themselves “churches.” Each belongs to a different denomination or religious movement, each with its own teachings, traditions, and ways of worship. Yet, despite their shared claim of serving God, they do not walk together in unity.

Every group insists on its own truth. Every group defends its own doctrine. And though nearly all of them speak about God, they do not agree with one another. This reality raises deep and troubling questions in the hearts of many:

- How many churches does God truly have?
- What exactly is a church?
- Which one is the true church?
- Who is the owner and builder of the church?
- How can we find the true church?

These are not small questions. They go to the very heart of faith and salvation. To answer them, we must turn not to human traditions or institutions, but to the Word of the Living God.

The Church as the Body of Christ
The Scriptures reveal that the Church is not a building, a denomination, or an earthly organization. Instead, it is described as the Body of Christ.

- Colossians 1:18 — “And He is the head of the body, the church; He is the beginning, the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything He might have the supremacy.”
- Ephesians 4:4–5 — “There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism.”

The Church is one body, with Christ as its Head. Believers are united to Him and to one another as members of this living body. This is the first great truth: the Church is not many, but one.

Entering Into Christ (the Church)
How then does one enter this true Church?

1. The Key Understanding
- Jesus Christ is the Church. To enter the Church is to enter the Son of God (1 John 5:20).

2. The Gift of God
- John 3:16 — God gave His Son as a gift. A gift is not earned; it is received. Salvation is not by human effort but by grace.

3. The Truths of Salvation
- The world did not ask for the Son, yet He came to save.
- The world was unbelieving, yet salvation requires faith in Him.

4. Christ the Way
- John 14:6 — Jesus is the only way to the Father.
- John 5:24 — Hearing His Word and believing brings eternal life.

→ Hearing the Word → Faith → New Birth → Entry into God’s family.

5. The Family Picture
- Just as you did not choose your earthly family, you do not place yourself into God’s family. Christ Himself brings you in (John 10:16).

6. The Blood of Christ

Freedom is one of the deepest desires of the human heart. Nations fight for it, people sacrifice for it, and cultures celebrate it. What Is This Freedom?
Christ came to set men free (Luke 4:18). But what kind of freedom does He mean?

- Not political freedom – Jesus did not come to overthrow governments.
- Not physical freedom – He did not promise release from earthly slavery.
- But freedom from the bondage of sin (John 8:34).

This freedom includes:
- Release from guilt and punishment (Romans 6:18, 22; Titus 2:14; Hebrews 9:15, 26).
- Deliverance from condemnation under God’s holy law (Romans 8:1–2; Galatians 3:13; 5:1).
- Victory over the fear of death (Hebrews 2:14–15; Psalm 49:15; 1 Corinthians 15:56–57).
- Escape from the empty ways of the world (Galatians 1:4; 1 Peter 1:17–18).
- Freedom from the bondage of possessions (Philippians 4:11–13; 1 Timothy 6:6–8; Hebrews 13:5).
- Liberation from any tie that hinders full devotion to Christ (Luke 14:26–33).

This is spiritual freedom—a “glorious liberty” (Romans 8:21) that only Christ can give.

How Does Christ Give This Freedom?
Jesus gives freedom through the knowledge of the truth.

- A true disciple comes to know Christ Himself, who is the Truth (John 1:17; 14:6).
- He learns the truth about Christ’s mission—why He came, what He accomplished, and what it means for us.
- He discovers the truth about himself—his need for salvation, his identity in Christ, and his purpose in God’s kingdom.

Knowledge of the truth is not mere information—it is revelation that transforms and sets free.

Why do so many remain enslaved? Because men are held captive by:
- The lies of Satan (John 15:21).
- The deceptions of false religion.
- The power of sin and unbelief.
- The ignorance of Christ’s truth.

Only Christ’s truth can break these chains. No philosophy, no ritual, no human wisdom can liberate the soul. Freedom is found in Christ alone.

The world loves its own.
“If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. But you do not belong to the world—I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.”

The world is full of sin, lacks faith, and its ruler is already judged.

WHAT IS A CHURCH?
Part 1 – The Body of Christ

The Body = The Church
- From Colossians 1:18, the Church is revealed to be the BODY of CHRIST.
- Jesus Christ is head over one body, which means there is one true Church.

“There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling.” — Ephesians 4:4
One Spirit. One Body. One Church.

This Church Was Bought by Jesus’ Own Blood
- Acts 20:28 tells us that the Church was purchased with God’s own blood.
- This identifies Jesus as God in the flesh, whose blood redeemed the Church.

Part 2 – The Body as Bread

The Church = Bread = Spiritual Life
- Matthew 26:26: “Take, eat; this is My Body.”
- The Body of Christ is symbolic bread — the Church is spiritual food that gives life.
- John 6:53–58 clarifies this is spiritual, not literal flesh.
- Jesus uses symbolic language throughout Scripture to express deep truths (cf. Matthew 16:6–12; John 6:35).

Jesus is the Bread of Life
“I am the bread of life… the living bread that came down from heaven.” — John 6:48–51
- This bread is not physical like manna but eternal, nourishing believers with everlasting life.

This Knowledge Is Not Taught by Man
- It comes only from the Living God through His Word — not from seminaries or denominations.

The Church Is Not a Building
- It is the spiritual Body of Christ:
“He is the head of the body, the Church…” — Colossians 1:18
- It is ONE body, ONE faith, ONE baptism — Ephesians 4:4–5
- Members of the Church are joined to Christ and to one another.

The Church Is Also Blessed Bread
- Matthew 26:26 — Jesus says, “This is my body.”
- Bread = His Body. His Body = the Church.
- The bread was blessed before being given to the disciples, meaning:
The Church is blessed spiritual food
Only true disciples partake of it.

Jesus Himself IS the Church

“My body”– . He meant that the bread was a symbol of His body. See at John 6:53-58. His body was soon to be crucified. The result of this event was eternal life and spiritual food to all who receive Him as Lord and Saviour. A literal eating of His flesh could not give spiritual life and food to anyone. The scriptures is full of symbolism and figurative language, and we must recognize this or fall into many errors. See Matt 16:6-12; John 6:35, 53-58.

JESUS IS THE BREAD OF LIFE
MEANING HE IS THE BODY OF LIFE,

“I am the bread of life. Your fathers ate manna in the wilderness, and are dead. This is the bread which comes down from heaven which a man may eat and not die. Jesus makes it clear that He has not been speaking of some substance like manna which they can gather and eat. He has been speaking of Himself (vs 48,51). In this Gospel on a number of occasions Jesus used the words “I am” in connection with some truth or other about Himself or His ministry (John 6:35; 8:12; 10:7, 9, 11, 14; 11:25; 14:6; 15:1, 5). Also He used the words by themselves seeJohn 8:24, 58.

The Lord Jesus meant that His body would be a sacrifice to take away the sins of the world (see John 1:29; 3:15), and that through believing in Him men would obtain spiritual life.

THIS IS THE BREAD WHICH COMES DOWN FROM HEAVEN meaning the "Church/body/JESUS "comes down from Heaven.

TRUE BLESSING

“God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him first to you to bless you, by turning each one of you away from his sins”.
Acts 3:26

“To bless you”– this is what God loves to do and why He sent His Son into the world. Observe here what is meant by God’s blessing – being turned from all sin and evil. Compare Matt 1:21; Gal 1:3-4; Titus 2:13-14; 1 Pet 2:24. This is the greatest true blessing and without it there is no blessing at all.God is eternal and also her blessing is eternal.we are talking about things which are eternal here.
This is the Good News.

Even as David also describes the blessedness of the man to whom God credits righteousness apart from works:

To be a Billionare is not a Blessing because your billions are not eternal.
