Let’s Make the Most of Our Stopover
Life is but a short stopover for all us. As the years go by and we begin to approach the end of our stopover, we realize that a bigger slice of our stopover should have been spent in contact with precious family members to share the joy of life and the kinship handed to us by our Creator.

It is not too late. As long as we still breathe air, let’s push ourselves to connect with each other more often and together embrace the uniqueness of the DNA that has launched us into this world.

Although the circumstances of our individual lives have put distance between us, we possess modern technology that merely requires the press of a button to bring us together.

Let’s all make our stopover count before the sun sets on all of us.

Throwing Some Light on the Human soul
Over the years, in several articles, I’ve only touched on the definition of the human soul. In this article I will attempt to throw more light on this important component of the human make-up.
Only when God breathed the breath of life (from His Spirit) into man did he (man) become a living soul. This implies that without the spirit part – the spirit into man released from the God-Spirit (part of God Himself) – man would have had no consciousness as a living entity. He would have remained (probably, prostrate on the ground) as a human corpse, but not as one that ever lived. Therefore, in the case of the first man on the planet it was a matter of no spirit, no soul.
It seems clear that the God-given spirit within the first man is what empowered every atom and molecule within his physical body enabling him to commence life as an individual human life form fully conscious of his existence. After all, God is life itself and this was imparted to Adam in that breath of life, making him a God-image man. It is man’s God-given spirit that “cranked” him up to become a living soul.
Unlike Adam, who only received his spirit (and became a living soul) as a grown man, all people after Adam and Eve are fully equipped with spirit and soul at conception and are born with but a rudimentary degree of development as a living soul.
Man’s soul may be regarded as a daily academic journal of his thoughts, words and actions as a conscious, individual human creature - all made possible by his spirit. So the human soul actually forms part of man’s spirit, for without the spirit there would be no soul. In essence, the spirit is the residential address of the soul. One could say that man’s spirit and soul are two parts of a whole. They will never part company, from here to eternity - whether in heaven or in hell.
“Thus saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein.” Isaiah 42:5
In the above-quoted verse the “breath unto the people” does not refer to the “breath of life” that God “breathed” into man in the Garden of Eden. The “breath of life” was the life-giving power that fired up man’s lungs to start taking in air (“breath unto”) for the purpose of sustaining his physical body. The “spirit to them that walk therein” is what defines the “breath of life”. The spirit is the heart, the very core, of man in his entirety as a living human creature. It provides him with life and enables him to function physically.
The soul of man is an exposé of the content of his spirit. This content of the spirit reflects man’s personality, character, education, knowledge, experience, intellect, wisdom, emotions, memory and as already pointed out - a daily academic journal of man’s thoughts, words and actions as a conscious, individual human creature. Having said that, it is not the soul that exhibits inner emotions and neither does the soul stir up memories. It is the mind of the spirit that performs this function.
The Bible speaks of a troubled spirit; an anguished spirit; a jealous spirit; a hardened spirit; a sorrowful spirit; a contrite spirit; a broken spirit; a steadfast spirit; a hasty spirit; a provoked spirit; a haughty spirit; a humble spirit; a vexed spirit; a patient spirit; a proud spirit; a heavy spirit; a joyful spirit and many more expressions to do with emotions.
We see from this that it is the spirit of man that holds title to man’s emotions and is also the storage vault of the memory files of the soul. The human spirit has a component that is in charge of all spiritual operations. This component is the mind of the spirit, the chief executive officer of the spirit, one could say.
The mind of one’s spirit deliberates and makes decisions based on the condition of the spirit and will act out what it finds through words and body language. The mind of the spirit and the spirit are as one. They are bosom buddies. When the Bible says, “... be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” (Rom. 12:2) it means that you, your spirit with its soul content, should be transformed to a righteous state by an act of the mind of your spirit. The mind, therefore, plays an executive role, hence, “And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;” (Eph 4:23)
The words that come out of your mouth are the words that your mind decided upon. When the mind of your spirit speaks, it simultaneously instructs your brain to open your mouth so that the words of your spirit may be formed and heard. You get to know someone by what comes out of their mouth.
You are a walking, talking spirit. Your brain is but the amplifier switch for the word of your spirit.
We see then, that you are a mind-controlled living soul and that you would not have been a living soul had it not been for God’s breath of life within you. Your soul, activated by your spirit, is your identity inclusive of your spirit and body. You are known, inclusive of all three, as a living human creature called man.
Your soul counts as a “unit” of spiritual life. Your soul is the overall representation of you in spirit, mind, word and body. You are “counted” as a soul, such as in a census of human population. God counts you as either a saved or lost soul.
In Ezekiel 18:4 we read that “...the soul that sinneth, it shall die.” After death a sinful man can no longer sin, but he lives on in a certain place (hell) as a consequence of his sinful nature.
Now let’s take a look at Matt. 22:37. “Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.”
The above verse gives the impression that the heart (spirit), the soul and the mind are capable of independent functionality. However, it stands to reason that a corrupt soul will have as its companions an equally corrupt spirit and mind, for the three actually operate in synergy with each other. Let’s put it this way. If you (your spirit and soul) are to be transformed “by the renewing of your mind”, then it certainly signifies that all three need to be pure in their love for God. You can give mental (mindful) assent to loving God, but in your heart and soul you fake that love. This means that not only is your mind, as “executive officer”, a liar, but that your mind is also lying on behalf of your spirit and soul.
To complete the picture, there is something that keeps us alive and functioning as walking, talking human creatures. That something is the Word of God, Jesus Christ.
John 1:1-4 tells us, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

And then followed the most extraordinary event ever. God became one of us and lived among us.
“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” (John 1:14)
We are given a further description of Jesus in Col. 1:15-17.
“Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.”
The Word of God, God Himself, walked among us. The very life of every human being, the very source of our existence, mingled with His human creation. All who are alive today are held together (“by him all things consist”) by Him.
And because of His love for His human creation, He came to save us. We have a choice. We either receive Him as Lord and Saviour or reject our salvation and face horrific consequences.

SOUTH AFRICA, ALONG WITH THE ENTIRE WORLD, HAS BECOME A CESSPOOL OF DEMON ACTIVITY.
What everyone should start realising is that we are not fighting against flesh and blood, but against captured human beings who now operate as agents of Satan. They have become walking, talking human body suits for demons. Their thoughts, words and actions are all orchestrated by dark supernatural intelligence operating in the spirit world – demons.

The ANC’s consolidated alignment with Iran, an Islamic Jihadist regime, is just one outcome of the ANC’s captivity to an intelligence not their own. They are totally deluded and probably beyond repentance.

Islamic Jihadists hate Jews, Christians – and even Muslims should they not join their cause of exterminating all those of other beliefs.

So, guess what? The ANC announces that all Christian churches should be registered and be monitored for hate speech and face jail time should they overstep the mark.

The ANC simply had to do something to secure their lucrative alliance with Iran.

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” (Eph. 6:12,13)

Here’s the picture.
Jesus is the Head of the Body, His Church. By imposing restrictions on Christian churches, the ANC is actually addressing Jesus Christ, the Creator and Owner of the Universe and everything in it.

By this act, the ANC has secured their demise. Demons will soon be scattering and entering a herd of pigs on a hill somewhere.

There’s a Lot More to Your Daily Walk in Life
When you wake up each morning to start your day… there is something invisible in the background that keeps you intact… breathing… and keeps you going as a living human being.

That something is the Light of life in the form of Jesus Christ, He is the very Breath of Life that gave you entry to earth at the exact time scheduled for the beginning of your existence as a living human being.

John 1:3. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
John 1:4. In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

WE ARE HELD TOGETHER BY HIM
Col. 1:15. Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

Col. 1:17. And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

OUR PURPOSE
Acts 17:24. God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;
Acts 17:25. Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;
Acts 17:26. And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;
Acts 17:27. That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:
Acts 17:28. For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

SHARE THIS WITH YOUR CHILDREN – EXPAND ON IT YOURSELF
The spirit world, God’s world, is the real world.

Our physical world and the human race are merely created products of God’s
world and we are totally under His control.

The God-created human race made a comprehensive mess of their intended purpose and, with the influence of Satan and his army of demons, plunged the human race into total darkness. We became walking, talking, spiritually dead human beings condemned to eternal death.

Jesus Christ, the Light of Life and through whom the Father created the human race, took on the form of a human being and paid us a visit.

He destroyed the works of Satan by drawing all of us onto the Cross and put us to death within Himself. He raised us back to life when He rose from the dead on the third day.

He was our substitute, paying the penalty of death for our fallen, sin-laden condition. He restored our birth right. We were once again children of God and no longer children of Satan – unless we reject the Cross in preference for the works of Satan.

The above is the GOOD NEWS. We either believe it and share it - or we reject it and continue as condemned walking, talking spiritually dead human beings frolicking with those of like kind in the world.

We have a God-given free will. He will not force us to obey.

“And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;
When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.” (2Thess. 1:7-10)

All human lives are about to be tested as never before and in the process be forced to make one final decision. This book serves to open our understanding of who and what we really are and the purpose we serve as human creatures on Planet Earth. There’s a whole lot of shaking going on in the world as we speak, and unless we take the matter of life seriously, our eternal demise is guaranteed. Time is of the essence.

Did you know that you are busy moving?
