Sexual sin is a spiritual leak. It drains your authority, boldness, and closeness with God. That’s why after sexual sin: You feel distant from God You don’t want to open your Bible You avoid real men of God You start justifying what you once preached against You struggle to worship like before It’s not punishment. It’s separation. Sin weakens your spiritual voltage. You can’t sin boldly and still pray boldly — it doesn’t work. 3. Your fire is off because your zip is open. The Holy Spirit does not dwell in a temple that keeps inviting lust in every weekend. You can’t cry “Lord, use me” when you keep using your body to please strangers online. Every time you watch porn, you plant seeds of guilt. Every time you masturbate, you fuel addiction. Every time you sleep around, you dilute your spiritual oil. Your anointing is not lost — it’s just buried under sexual compromise. 4. You can’t chase God and girls at the same time. One will leave. It’s either: You die to flesh and grow in Christ OR You live in pleasure and die spiritually Most brothers don’t lack calling — they lack consecration. You want prayer and porn. Fasting and flirting. Spirit and sex. That’s a recipe for spiritual paralysis. 5. God is not the problem — your lack of discipline is. You cry, “God why don’t I feel you like before?” But last week, you were on TikTok drooling over half-naked girls. You ask, “God, why is my fire low?” But you haven’t gone three days without “releasing” into your palm. This isn’t spiritual warfare. This is self-destruction. Morning and Evening Worship Family Worship in My Life O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker. Psalm 95:6 The Lord has a special interest in the families of His children here below. Angels offer the smoke of the fragrant incense for the praying saints. Then in every family let prayer ascend to heaven both at morning and at the cool sunset hour, in our behalf presenting before God the Saviour’s merits. Morning and evening the heavenly universe takes notice of every praying household. Come in humility with a heart full of tenderness and with a sense of the temptations and dangers before yourselves and your children; by faith bind them upon the altar, entreating for them the care of the Lord. Ministering angels will guard children who are thus dedicated to God. Family worship should not be governed by circumstances. You are not to pray occasionally, and when you have a large day’s work, neglect it. In thus doing you lead your children to look upon prayer as of no special consequence. Prayer means very much to the children of God, and thank offerings should come up before God morning and evening. Says the Psalmist, “O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.” It should be a pleasure to worship the Lord.... He desires that those who come to worship Him shall carry away with them precious thoughts of His care and love, that they may be cheered in all the employments of daily life, that they may have grace to deal honestly and faithfully in all things. The Bible in My Life Receive, I pray thee, the law from his mouth, and lay up his words in thine heart. Job 22:22 It is of the greatest importance that you continually search the Scriptures, storing the mind with the truths of God. You may be separated from the companionship of Christians and placed where you will not have the privilege of meeting with the children of God. You need the treasures of God’s Word hidden in your heart. All over the field of revelation are scattered grains of gold—the sayings of the wisdom of God. If you are wise, you will gather up these precious grains of truth. Make the promises of God your own. Then when test and trial come, these promises will be to you glad springs of heavenly comfort. Temptations often appear irresistible because, through neglect of prayer and the study of the Bible, the tempted one cannot readily remember God’s promises and meet Satan with the Scripture weapons. But angels are round about those who are willing to be taught in divine things; and in the time of great necessity they will bring to their remembrance the very truths which are needed. Thus “when the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.” The heart that is stored with the precious truths of God’s Word is fortified against the temptation of Satan, against impure thoughts and unholy actions. Keep close to the Scriptures. The more you search and explain the Word, the more your mind and heart will be fortified with the blessed words of encouragement and promise. Let us commit its precious promises to memory, so that, when we are deprived of our Bibles, we may still be in possession of the Word of God.

24 January 2026 My Light The Bible in My Life The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple. Psalm 119:130 It [the Word of God] is a light shining in a dark place. As we search its pages, light enters the heart, illuminating the mind. By this light we see what we ought to be. We see in the Word, warnings and promises, with God behind them all. We are invited to search this Word for aid when brought into difficult places. If we do not consult the Guidebook at every step, inquiring, Is this the way of the Lord? our words and acts will be tainted by selfishness. We shall forget God, and walk in paths that He has not chosen for us. God’s Word is full of precious promises and helpful counsel. It is infallible; for God cannot err. It has help for every circumstance and condition of life, and God looks on with sadness when His children turn from it to human aid. He who through the Scriptures holds communion with God will be ennobled and sanctified. As he reads the inspired record of the Saviour’s love, his heart will melt in tenderness and contrition. He will be filled with a desire to be like his Master, to live a life of loving service.... By a miracle of His power He has preserved His Written Word through the ages. This book is God’s great director.... It flashes its light ahead, that we may see the path by which we are traveling; and its rays are thrown back on past history, showing the most perfect harmony in that which, to the mind in darkness, appears like error and discord. In that which seems to the worldling an inexplicable mystery, God’s children see light and beauty. 19 January 2026 Search the Scriptures The Bible in My Life O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments and his ways past finding out. Romans 11:33 In the Scriptures thousands of gems of truth lie hidden from the surface seeker. The mine of truth is never exhausted. The more you search the Scriptures with humble hearts, the greater will be your interest, and the more you will feel like exclaiming with Paul: “O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! ...” Every day you should learn something new from the Scriptures. Search them as for hid treasures, for they contain the words of eternal life. Pray for wisdom and understanding to comprehend these holy writings. If you would do this, you would find new glories in the Word of God; you would feel that you had received new and precious light on subjects connected with the truth, and the Scriptures would be constantly receiving a new value in your estimation. The great truths necessary for salvation are made as clear as noonday.... A single text has proved in the past, and will prove in the future, to be a savor of life unto life to many a soul. As men diligently search, the Bible opens new treasures of truth, which are as bright jewels to the mind. You must dig deep in the mine of truth if you would find its richest treasures. Comparing scripture with scripture, you may find the true meaning of the text; but if you do not make the sacred teachings of God’s Word the rule and guide of your life, the truth will be nothing to you.... If any part of God’s Word condemns any habit you have cherished, any feeling you have indulged, any spirit you have manifested, turn not from the Word of God; but turn away from the evil of your doings, and let Jesus cleanse and sanctify your heart.

Mother’s Prayers Prayer in My Life For I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children. Isaiah 49:25 Those who keep the law of God look upon their children with indefinable feelings of hope and fear, wondering what part they will act in the great conflict that is just before them. The anxious mother questions, “What stand will they take? What can I do to prepare them to act well their part, so that they will be the recipients of eternal glory?” Great responsibilities rest upon you, mothers.... You may aid them to develop characters that will not be swayed or influenced to do evil, but will sway and influence others to do right. By your fervent prayers of faith you can move the arm that moves the world.... The prayers of Christian mothers are not disregarded by the Father of all.... He will not turn away your petitions, and leave you and yours to the buffetings of Satan in the great day of final conflict. It is for you to work with simplicity and faithfulness, and God will establish the work of your hands. The lifework performed on earth is acknowledged in the heavenly courts as a work well done. With joy unutterable, parents see the crown, the robe, the harp, given to their children.... The seed sown with tears and prayers may have seemed to be sown in vain, but their harvest is reaped with joy at last. Their children have been redeemed. When the “well done” of the great Judge is pronounced, and the crown of immortal glory is placed upon the brow of the victor, many will raise their crowns in sight of the assembled universe and, pointing to their mothers, say, “She made me all I am through the grace of God. Her instruction, her prayers, have been blessed to my eternal salvation.

LITTLE FAITH AND ACT OF MERCY A boy in Kenya whose father was serving a life sentence had to report for Grade Ten at Agoro Sare National School against all odds. After the father was jailed, the mother, being human with obvious needs—got involved with another man, and they conceived a child. Unfortunately, the pregnancy ended in a stillbirth, and the mother developed complications and was hospitalized at the very time the boy was supposed to report to school. Despite all this, he performed exceptionally well and was invited to join Agoro Sare National School, one of the best secondary schools in Nyanza Province. In fact, out of the last year’s 604 candidates, 597 attained university entry grades. In other words, Agoro Sare is a dual carriageway to the university. Amid this cloud of confusion, the boy burned charcoal and raised some money, which he estimated would be enough for fare. He did not know where the school was, so he went to the bus stop to inquire. Fortunately, he met a boy wearing a school uniform with a badge that read "Agoro Sare Secondary School". When he arrived at the school, the security guards stopped him at the gate because he was not in school uniform. Anyone would have questioned him, as he looked like a street urchin, dressed in rags. He narrated his story to the security guards, who then called the principal. The principal agreed to listen to the boy. When Dr. Isaac Okeyo, the principal of Agoro Sare, heard the boy’s painful story, he called the area chief to verify it. After confirming that the story was true, he decided to buy literally everything the boy needed, including boxers. Remember, the boy had arrived with only his calling letter and certificate from Atilili Primary School in Siaya County. The boy is currently constructing his vision at Agoro Sare. Ladies and gentlemen, there are people who have succeeded in life simply because they showed up. They had no connections, no finances, and no obvious advantages, but they played their part by showing up. There are people whose businesses were failing, with no hope of a better future, yet they kept showing up until favor located them. Even when God has decided to lift you, you still have a role to play—show up. The principal of Agoro Sare is a unique man. He has shown compassion in very sensitive cases. I have come to realize that there are many of God’s servants who do not carry the title of pastor and have never stood on a pulpit. Many teachers have been instrumental in building destinies; no wonder most of them live peaceful lives. When you carry a seed of greatness, most times you face unique attacks at a tender age, but somehow you receive the resilience to pull through. Great people do not become great because they enjoy smooth sailing; they become great because they show up despite the storms of life. Anytime you wonder in the desert, know that you are approaching Canaan. There are still men in high office today with the heart of David. LESSON Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me" (Matthew 25:40). "Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me" (Matthew 25:45). Meaning & Interpretation "The Least of These": Refers to those society marginalizes, the poor, hungry, thirsty, strangers, naked, sick, and imprisoned. Serving Others: It's a powerful call to show compassion and practical help to the needy, as these actions are a measure of one's faith and love for God. Identity with the Vulnerable: Jesus identifies Himself with the most vulnerable in society, making helping them an act of devotion to Him. In Essence This phrase highlights that true faith isn't just about beliefs, but about tangible acts of love and mercy towards others, especially those who can offer nothing in return, revealing the state of one's heart

He didn’t throw his daughter away. He threw her toward life. In October 1917, an immigrant ship carrying Italians to New York was swallowed by a violent Atlantic storm. Among the passengers were Antonio Russo, a 28-year-old carpenter, and his five-year-old daughter, Maria. Antonio’s wife had died in childbirth two years earlier. America was his last hope — a way out of poverty, a chance to give his daughter a future Italy could not. At 2:00 a.m., towering waves smashed over the decks. That throwing her into the ocean meant he did not want her. She lived with that belief for twenty-five years. The truth reached her when she was thirty. A researcher reviewing passenger records from the 1917 shipwreck found Antonio Russo’s name among the dead. Only then did Maria learn the truth: Her father had sacrificed himself so she could live. Maria Russo lived until 2004, dying at the age of ninety-two. In 1995, at eighty-three years old, she finally told her story: > “I thought my father was killing me. I didn’t understand he was saving me. I thought for years that he threw me away. The truth was — he threw me toward life.” Maria married. She had four children, nine grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren — thirty-one descendants who exist because one man made an impossible choice in the dark Atlantic. She said: > “Every birthday, every good moment in my life exists because my father chose me over himself. I see his face in that porthole every night. Storacles of Prophesy The Mystery of the Daniel 2 Image Distilled and Explained The vast kingdom of Babylon was opulent and prosperous, yet Nebuchadnezzar the king stirred in his royal bed. How long would this golden era last, he wondered, and what would become of his powerful empire when he was gone? With these disturbing questions in mind, the mighty monarch drifted off to sleep. That night, a vivid image of a towering multi-mineral man flashed into his mind with a panorama of color unlike anything he had ever experienced. Throwing aside his embroidered covers, the king jumped out of bed and shouted to his bodyguards: "Call all the magicians and astrologers to come at once. I must know the meaning of this dream!" The king's wise men were roused and herded into the presence of the bewildered sovereign. "And the king said unto them, I have dreamed a dream, and my spirit was troubled to know the dream." Daniel 2:3. One of the phony prophets smugly responded, "Tell your servants the dream, and we will give the interpretation." But as often happens with dreams, the details had already grown cloudy in Nebuchadnezzar's mind. These men had claimed divine insight, but the king was beginning to doubt their abilities. This would be the perfect test. "Tell me the dream and the interpretation, and you will be rewarded," the king told his counselors, "otherwise I will cut you in pieces and turn your homes into dumps!" The magicians and astrologers had no choice but to admit that they were powerless to explain the king's dream without first hearing it. Furious with these imposters, the king commanded that all the wise men of Babylon be gathered for execution. However, the Lord still had one person in Babylon who could explain the dream of the colossal Millennial Man. 1. Why did God give the Babylonian king this dream? Daniel 2:28 But there is a God in heaven that revealeth __________, and maketh known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days. Answer: ____________________ Note: In this dream of the multi-mineral image, God outlined for all future millenniums the rise and fall of the empires that would have a direct influence on His people. 2. When the king's counselors failed to reveal and interpret the dream, what was Nebuchadnezzar's command? Daniel 2:12 . The king ... commanded to __________ all the wise men of Babylon. Answer: ____________________ Note: The astrologers and magicians of Babylon claimed to have supernatural power, but when they could not reveal the dream to the king, they were shown to be impotent imposters. If the king had recalled the dream, they would have simply manufactured a bogus interpretation. In his rage, Nebuchadnezzar commanded all the wise men to be slain-even those who were not present. Among those absent from the first meeting with the king was a God-fearing captive named Daniel, who had just been trained for the king's service. 3. When Daniel learned about the death decree, what did he ask of the king and what did he tell his friends? Daniel 2:16 . Daniel went in, and desired of the king that he would give him __________, and that he would shew the king the interpretation. Daniel 2:17, 18 Then Daniel went to his house, and made the thing known to Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, his companions: That they would desire mercies of the God of heaven concerning this secret. Answer: ____________________ Note: Daniel requested a little time from Nebuchadnezzar and promised that he would reveal the dream and its meaning. The king, who was still desperate to know the significance of his vision, granted Daniel's request. Then he and his friends appealed to the only Source who could reveal the king's dream. They prayed to the God of heaven. 4. When the Lord revealed the dream to Daniel, to whom did he give praise and credit? Daniel 2:23, 28 . I thank thee, and praise thee, O thou __________ of my fathers... There is a __________ in heaven that revealeth secrets. Answer: ____________________ Note: The rise and fall of empires may appear as if happening by the will of men, but Daniel's prayer of praise clearly reveals the essence of divine intervention. Nothing happens that God is not already aware of and has not allowed. Sometimes we may not understand what is happening in our world today or why, but it is comforting to know that God is still sovereign. Only Daniel could reveal the dream to the king, yet he clearly gives the credit to the One who revealed the dream to him, the God of heaven. 5. What two objects did Daniel say the king saw in his dream? Daniel 2:31. Thou, O king, sawest, and behold, a great __________. Daniel 2:34. Thou sawest ... that a stone was cut out without hands. Answer: ____________________ Note: The first thing the king saw was a great image made of the following mineral elements: The head was of gold. The breast and arms were of silver. The belly and thighs were of brass. The legs were of iron. The feet of iron and clay. Next, the king saw a stone that had been cut without hands. At this point, King Nebuchadnezzar was no doubt sitting spellbound on the edge of his throne. Daniel had related the dream precisely as God had given it to him. Now the king eagerly waited, wondering what the dream meant. Daniel proceeded to explain the interpretation as the Lord had revealed it to him, and we would do well to take it just as He gave it. The only safe way to interpret the Bible and prophecy is to allow the Bible to explain itself. 6. What does the head of gold represent? Daniel 2:38 . Thou art this __________ of gold. Answer: ____________________ Note: The king was regarded as the head of the state. This is why Nebuchadnezzar represented Babylon, the empire that began the prophecy. Neo-Babylon ruled the world from 612-539 B.C. as one of the mightiest empires of antiquity, one that could aptly be described as the head of gold. Notice that the prophecy begins with Daniel's time. 7. Would the Babylonian kingdom last forever? Daniel 2:39. After thee shall arise __________ kingdom inferior to thee. Answer: ____________________ Note: Babylon's supremacy would not last forever. Succeeding kingdoms, inferior to Babylon, would rule in their turn. Just as silver is inferior to gold, so the kingdom that followed Babylon enjoyed diminished glory. Led by Cyrus in 539 B.C., the Medo-Persian empire conquered Babylon and reduced it to ruins. The Medes and Persians were the ruling world power from 539-331 B.C. During their reign, all taxes had to be paid in silver. 8. What metal would represent the kingdom that followed Medo-Persia? Daniel 2:39. Another third kingdom of __________ ... shall bear rule over all the earth. Answer: ____________________ Note: The brass kingdom of Greece came into power when Alexander the Great conquered the Medes and Persians at the battle of Arbela in 331 B.C., and Greece remained in power until about 168 B.C. Greek soldiers were called "brazen coated" because their armor was all bronze. Notice how each succeeding mineral depicted in the image is less valuable, yet more enduring than the one before it. 9. Joseph prayed, and he was preserved from sin amid influences that were calculated to lead him away from God. When tempted to leave the path of purity and uprightness, he rejected the suggestion with, “How can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?” Moses, who was much in prayer, was known as the meekest man on the face of the earth.... While he was leading the children of Israel through the wilderness, again and again it seemed that they must be exterminated on account of their murmuring and rebellion. But Moses went to the true Source of power; he laid the case before the Lord.... And the Lord said, “I have pardoned according to thy word.” ... Daniel was a man of prayer, and God gave him wisdom and firmness to resist every influence that conspired to draw him into the snare of intemperance. Even in his youth he was a moral giant in the strength of the Mighty One....
