- I’ve begun working on a project to produce pilgrimages in the UK based on the lives of Celtic/Welsh/Saxon saints, each one accompanied by a pocket devotional that gently teaches a theological lesson based on that saint’s life through the journey and the landscape. They all work as standalone pilgrimages but fit together into a grater theological arc. I’d love you guys’ feedback.I’ve begun working on a project to produce pilgrimages in the UK based on the lives of Celtic/Welsh/Saxon saints, each one accompanied by a pocket devotional that gently teaches a theological lesson based on that saint’s life through the journey and the landscape. - So I decided to try the Jesus Wake Up Routine for the next few days. I’m not sure how I’ll manage it, I’m usually a night owl and really struggle in the mornings, but the plan is to wake up at 4.30 and spend an hour at least with God before the day starts.
Last night I started preparing for bed at about 9.30, unheard of for me, and probably got to sleep about 11. I love God’s sense of humour; here’s me worrying about being able to wake at 4.30, So God allowed me to wake, fully alert at 2.55 instead. It’s now 3.10am and I’m excited to get started, I’m guessing I’m starting early on day 1. Please lend me your prayers that I manage to keep it up for the next few days.

- After joining church for the first time in May, 17 year old Alex decided to walk a pilgrimage of 40 miles from the church to Lichfield Cathedral. Although he’s very new to studying the Bible rather than just ‘knowing God is real’, and battling severe dyslexia, here are his final thoughts a week after he returned home. Please watch some of his other videos of his updates during the journey. His passion for Christ is truly inspirational in one so young. He has assured me that this is only his first pilgrimage, he’s already planning the next 3!

- Just to share the good news, my stepson Alex successfully completed his pilgrimage to Lichfield Cathedral on Sunday morning. He arrived in time to call our church before the service to let them know he was there. It’s truly amazing to see such passion for Christ in a 17 year old. If anyone would like to see his updates on the journey, he started a YouTube channel to document his walk. www.youtube.com/@21stCenturyPilgrim-Alex

- My stepson, Alex, is walking a pilgrimage in 2 weeks time from our church to our diocese cathedral nearly 40 miles away. He’s not long turned 17 and has planned the whole thing himself in order to raise money for some much needed repairs to our church building. I’ve included his link if you’d like more information from him. Please offer him your prayers and encouragement, any song/podcast/audio Bible verses etc he can listen to along the way, and please share what he’s doing on the hopes that God will move people to help him achieve his target. https://www.gofundme.com/f/Alexs-Lichfield-Pilgrimage
