*Question: Is it allowed to have sex during a season of fasting?* For married couples, sex is not a sin, but during fasting the Bible encourages mutual agreement. “Do not deprive one another except by mutual consent and for a time, that you may give yourselves to prayer.” — 1 Corinthians 7:5 Key Teachings: ▪ Fasting is about denying the flesh to strengthen the spirit ▪ Sexual intimacy in marriage is holy, but depending on the duration of your fast it is important to consider your marriage. ▪ Couples may agree to abstain temporarily during fasting for prayer There are castings of a day, 3 days maybe upto 7 days.
