I'm strongly convinced that lasting Christian revival (which should be normal Christian life) is built on the grace and structure to build and maintain relationships.
The Structure: regular gathering anywhere of saints in small numbers enough to interact without living one outside. Here exchange of Spiritual gifts happens. And these are the means Christ minister to His Church. When every member feel secured to share their concerns and struggles in a loving and responsible way, they minister to others unknowingly or open up to receive ministry from their fellow members; that is when growth and true discipleship happens.
Love and oneness resulting from such fellowship, triggers "grace" - the divine power to work and walk gracefully. - with results (fruitfulness).

We are living in times unlike any other in human history, times marked not just by war, disease, or economic pressure, but by something far more dangerous: the widespread rejection of truth. These days were foreseen nearly 2,000 years ago by the Apostle Paul in his letter to Timothy:

“A time will come when people will no longer listen to accurate teachings. Instead, they will follow their own desires and surround themselves with teachers who say what they want to hear. They will refuse to listen to the truth and will turn to myths." 2 Timothy 4:3–4 (GWV)

How strikingly relevant these words are today. Truth is no longer welcome in many spaces, even in churches. Instead, people prefer comfort, motivational speeches, and teachings that validate their lifestyles. Paul described this trend as a departure from “sound doctrine,” and its danger cannot be overstated.

What Is “Sound Doctrine”?

In the King James Version, the term “accurate teachings” is translated as sound doctrine -deep, life-giving truth that transforms every area of our being:

Marriage and family life
Parenting and character development
Social relationships and emotional intelligence
Economic behavior and work ethic
Health, education, and even stewardship of creation
Such doctrine does not tickle ears; it trains hearts. It disciples us into Christ’s image, as intended from the beginning (Genesis 1:28). This kind of discipleship isn’t a program, it’s a lifestyle of close fellowship, often nurtured best in small, house-based church gatherings where real transformation can take root. MEGA CHURCHES TREND COULD BE ROBING US THIS SACRED RELATIONSHIP.

What Is Truth?
Truth, at its core, is whatever aligns with God's original design and purpose for human beings. But there is a problem: the human heart is naturally deceptive.

“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” - Jeremiah 17:9 (KJV)

Because of this, truth must be received from God, not invented by man. That’s why Scripture stands alone in its authority and reliability. It has not only survived thousands of years but continues to speak powerfully into every generation. No book rivals the Bible in its purity and life-transforming impact.

The Deception of Intelligence

One of the subtle dangers we face today is the idolization of intelligence. Just as the tree of the knowledge of good and evil tempted Adam and Eve, modern humanity, especially in the church is again being seduced by clever speech and deep philosophies.

People are quick to revere eloquent speakers and intellectual teachers, often placing them above humble servants of God. This is dangerous. The church is not built on intellect, but on Christ and His revelation.

How Do We Guard Against Deception?

1. Understand How Christ Builds His Church

Jesus said:
“You are Peter, and I can guarantee that on this rock [Peter’s confession], I will build my church. And the gates of hell will not overpower it.” — Matthew 16:18 (GWV)

Christ builds His Church through the gifts and ministries He gives to every believer (Ephesians 4:16). Every believer has a function, like an organ in the body, and must be taught how to relate, serve, and grow with others. We need spiritual schools—relational structures—that nurture love, unity, and purpose in the local church and beyond.

2. Deny Yourself and Carry Your Cross Daily

Jesus also taught:

“Those who want to come with me must say no to the things they want, pick up their crosses every day, and follow me.” — Luke 9:23 (GWV)

Following Christ means dying to self. When our desires conflict with God’s will, we must say no, even if it costs us popularity, friends, opportunities, or comfort. This is the true cost of discipleship.

Final Thoughts: A Call Back to Truth

We are not just in dangerous times because of global events—we are in danger because of the condition of the human heart. Truth is being traded for myths, and many Christians are drifting from God’s purposes under the guise of knowledge and spiritual trends.

Now more than ever, we must return to sound doctrine, embrace truth, and commit to authentic discipleship. The Church must be more than a crowd, it must be a community of transformed people living out God’s design in everyday life.
