The Work of Christ's Cross ✝️ _Part Two The two dimensional work of the ✝️ can be restated as: A) The vertical dimension work of the ✝️, ie, FAITH, and B) The horizontal dimension work of the ✝️, ie, LOVE. Hence, The work of the ✝️ covers the whole of Christianity. As it's written: Galatians 5:6 NIV For in Christ Jesus... The ONLY THING that counts is FAITH expressing itself through LOVE. In other words, for a Christian, the ONLY THING that counts is FAITH (ie, the VERTICAL DIMENSION work of the ✝️) expressing itself through LOVE (ie, the HORIZONTAL DIMENSION work of the ✝️)!!! Everything else in Christ Jesus our Lord falls under these two dimensions of the ✝️ of calvary. John 12:32-33 NKJV And I, if I am LIFTED UP from the earth, will DRAW all peoples to Myself." [33] This He said, signifying by what death He would die. John 11:50-52 NLT You don't realize that it's better for you that one man should die for the people than for the whole nation to be destroyed." [51] He did not say this on his own; as high priest at that time he was led to prophesy that Jesus would DIE ... to BRING TOGETHER and UNITE all the children of God scattered around the world. Romans 15:7 NLT Therefore, ACCEPT each other JUST AS Christ has accepted you so that God will be given glory. By embracing the vertical dimension work of the ✝️, ie, FAITH without embracing the horizontal dimension work of the ✝️, ie, LOVE we will only be DECEIVING ourselves: 1 John 3:14 NLT If we love our brothers and sisters who are believers, it PROVES that we have PASSED from death to life. But a person who has no love is still dead. 1 John 4:16-17 NIV And so we KNOW and RELY on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. [17] This is how love is made complete among us SO THAT we will have CONFIDENCE on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus. Matthew 25:31-46 NKJV "When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. [32] All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. [33] And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. [34] Then the King will say to those on His right hand, 'Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: [40] And the King will answer and say to them, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.' [41] "Then He will also say to those on the left hand, 'Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: [45] Then He will answer them, saying, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did NOT do it to one of the least of these, you did NOT do it to Me.' [46] And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."

The work of our Savior's cross ✝️ has two main dimensions: 1) Vertical dimension, That is, to SEEK the LOST that they may be FOUND Luke 15:7 NLT In the same way, there is more joy in heaven over one lost sinner who repents and returns to God than over ninety-nine others who are righteous and haven't strayed away! Luke 19:10 NLT For the Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost." 2) Horizontal DIMENSION, That is, to GATHER the FOUND that they may be ONE Luke 13:34 NIV “Jerusalem, Jerusalem,... how often I have longed to GATHER your children TOGETHER, as a hen GATHERS her chicks under her wings,... Romans 12:5 NKJV so we, being many, are ONE body in Christ, and INDIVIDUALLY MEMBERS of ONE ANOTHER.
