- PAYING TITHE AS A CHRISTIAN!
In the New Testament, the emphasis shifts from strict tithing to generous and cheerful giving. ( 2 Corinthians 9: 6-7). Giving as a Christians is beyond the traditional 10% tithe which is the Mosaic law for only the Isrealite. (Leviticus 27:30-32)
I pray God will give us grace to understand the scriptures as it applies to us as Christians as we study. Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (2 Timothy 2:15).
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
