LoopStudio is very happy to announce the launch of LoopAcademy, our newest initiative designed to support and develop trainees and junior developers. You will get to work on real projects that make a difference for cybersecurity companies.
At LoopStudio, we believe in the power of education and mentorship. LoopAcademy aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world application, providing trainees and junior developers with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the cybersecurity industry.
LoopAcademy is being launched for several key reasons:
- Retention and Career Development: We want to build a strong foundation for our future leaders by starting with developers who join us at the beginning of their careers. Through LoopAcademy, trainees and junior developers will have a clear path for growth, evolving over time into leadership roles within the company. This ensures that we are not only retaining talent but also nurturing it to reach its full potential.
- Cultural Fit: Our culture is unique and has been shaped by team members who have been with us for years. Integrating new senior developers can be challenging because they haven’t grown with our culture. By developing talent from within, we ensure that our future leaders are deeply rooted in our values and culture, creating a more cohesive and collaborative team environment.
- Renovation: We want to add fresh minds with new ideas, skills and knowledge. Incorporating new perspectives to the team can lead to innovative solutions and suggestions to improve existing processes.
Our company offers a comprehensive roadmap designed by our technical team to equip you with the tools and experience needed for success in your first professional endeavor with a U.S. client. Throughout this journey, you’ll benefit from an assigned mentor who will guide you and provide constant feedback.
The journey begins with a JIRA Onboarding Project, where developers cover different topics to gain essential knowledge needed to start collaborating on client projects. Optional Udemy Courses are available for those who want to dive deeper into subjects like React.js and Node.js. Following this, developers face Interview Challenges that present realistic scenarios to further refine their skills.
Once these challenges are completed, developers engage in Hands-on Exercises to apply what they’ve learned. As they progress, they start working on Internal Projects, which provide experience in both back-end and front-end tasks, managed by a Project Manager. Throughout this stage, they are involved in Processes Checks, where they participate in daily tasks such as SCRUM ceremonies, team presentations, and internal demos, while following defined processes.
After mastering these internal projects, developers may get the opportunity to Participate on an Existing Client Project. This hands-on experience boosts their confidence and prepares them to be autonomous on client projects. Eventually, they reach the Client-ready stage, where they are equipped to work independently and deliver value to our clients. Besides this practical experience, theoretical content, tech wikis, and roadmaps are complementary tools to support their learning journey.
