LocClim is a local climate estimation tool that generates site-specific monthly climate normals by interpolating data from nearby weather stations. You can pick any location worldwide, review the surrounding station network, and compute estimates for key variables—typically including temperature and precipitation—based on the available records. The software produces climate diagrams and data tables, and it allows you to refine inputs by selecting or weighting stations, adjusting interpolation settings, and adding your own station data. Results can be exported for use in GIS, spreadsheets, or reports. LocClim is especially useful in agriculture, forestry, water resources, and environmental planning, where reliable climate context is needed for areas without long-term on-site observations.
LocClim is developed by FAO and is used by 3 users of Software Informer. The most popular versions of this product among our users are: 1.0 and 1.2. The name of the program executable file is locclim.exe.
