Privacy, Cookies, and Terms
This page explains how LocalHost.Co handles basic visitor data, how cookies may be used, and the terms that apply when you use the site.
Privacy
LocalHost.Co is primarily an informational and utility-based website. In normal browsing, I do not ask visitors to create accounts or provide large amounts of personal information. Most pages can be used without submitting anything at all.
If you contact the site by email, I will obviously see the information you choose to send, such as your email address and the contents of your message. That information is only used for replying, reviewing the issue you mentioned, or improving the site based on your feedback.
If you submit a comment on a tool or article page, the site may store the name you entered, the rating you selected, the comment text, and technical abuse-prevention values such as hashed request metadata. That information is used to review submissions, reduce spam, and keep public comment sections usable.
Like most websites, the server may also generate routine logs for stability, debugging, and security. Those logs can include technical data such as IP address, request path, browser details, and request time. They are not used to build personal profiles, but they may be reviewed when investigating abuse, performance issues, or broken pages.
Cookies
LocalHost.Co may use small browser storage features such as cookies or local storage for basic functionality. For example, a theme preference such as light mode or dark mode can be remembered in the browser so the site does not reset that choice every time you open a page.
These kinds of storage items are used for convenience and site behavior, not to create a hidden tracking profile. If I add analytics, embedded tools, or third-party services in the future, this section should be updated to reflect that clearly.
If you prefer not to keep that kind of storage, you can usually clear site data directly from your browser settings. Doing that may reset preferences or remove convenience features, but the main pages should still remain accessible.
Terms of use
The content and tools on LocalHost.Co are provided for general informational and practical use. I try to keep the material accurate and useful, but I do not guarantee that every page is complete, error-free, or suitable for every environment. Local development setups vary, and some issues depend on operating system, framework, network settings, or software version.
You are responsible for how you use the information on this site. If you apply a configuration change, run code, edit a server file, or use one of the tools in a workflow that matters to you, you should still review the result yourself. The site is meant to help, not replace your own judgment.
You should not use the site to post spam, abuse forms, attack the tools, or try to interfere with the service. I may remove comments, block abusive access, or limit features when needed to keep the site stable.
Unless stated otherwise, the site structure, original written content, and original tool implementations are part of LocalHost.Co. Short quotations, references, and clearly attributed third-party names may appear where relevant, but that does not transfer ownership of external brands or materials.
Updates and contact
This page may change over time as the site grows, especially if new features, integrations, analytics, or user-facing systems are added. The practical version of this document is always the one published on this page.
If you have a privacy-related question, a concern about a comment submission, or a request connected to site usage, you can write to [email protected].
