Before using ChatGPT or other generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools, check with your professor for each course whether AI use is allowed and what is permitted for a specific asignment.

  • evaluate the content/output carefully and critically. AI-generated content may be incorrect, biased, and/or unreliable. These tools may also infringe on your privacy (e.g., collecting data about you and sharing it). Use them with caution, and consider using more authoritative, reliable, and secure sources instead.
  • cite and acknowledge use. Cite any AI-generated information used in your work, and include an acknowledgement that AI tools were
