Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned upon Your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
By accessing or using the Service, You agree to be bound by these Terms. If You disagree with any part of the terms, then You may not access the Service.
1. Accounts
When You create an account with Us, You must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of Your account.
- Responsibility: You are responsible for safeguarding the password that You use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under Your password.
- Security: You agree not to disclose Your password to any third party. You must notify Us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of Your account.
2. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content (excluding content provided by users), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of LearningRO and its licensors. Our content is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the United Kingdom and foreign countries.
We grant You a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to access and use the Service for Your own personal, non-commercial educational purposes.
3. User Content and Conduct
Our Service allows You to post, link, store, share, and otherwise make available certain information (“Content”). You are responsible for the Content that You post, including its legality and appropriateness.
Prohibited Conduct:
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our computer systems or networks.
- Engaging in "Prompt Injection" or any attempt to manipulate the AI (RoTutor) to bypass safety filters or reveal underlying system instructions.
- Using automated systems (bots, scrapers) to extract content from the Service without our express written permission.
- Engaging in any activity that promotes cheating or circumvents the integrity of academic assessments.
AI Educational Disclaimer
RoTutor and other AI-powered features are provided for educational guidance only. They utilize advanced third-party inference infrastructure (Groq API) to generate real-time responses.
- Accuracy: LearningRO does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated responses. AI can occasionally "hallucinate" or provide factually incorrect information.
- User Responsibility: Users remain solely responsible for verifying information before relying on it for exams, assignments, or academic credit.
- No Monitoring: While we secure the data flow, we do not manually monitor real-time AI conversations.
4. Subscriptions, Fees, and Cancellations
4.1 Payments
Paid tiers (RoPlus and RoPro) are billed on a monthly subscription basis. By subscribing, You authorize Us to charge Your provided payment method every month until cancellation.
4.2 Cancellation Policy
You may cancel Your subscription at any time via Your account settings. Upon cancellation, You will continue to have access to the paid features until the end of Your current billing period.
4.3 Right of Withdrawal (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)
In accordance with the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, if You are a consumer in the UK or EU, You have the right to cancel Your subscription within 14 days of the initial purchase for a full refund.
Waiver: By accessing digital content or utilizing AI features (RoTutor) within this 14-day period, You acknowledge that Your right to a full refund may be waived once the service has been partially consumed.
5. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall LearningRO, nor its directors or employees, be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from Your use of the Service or any AI-generated content. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, academic failure, or intangible losses.
6. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.
7. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 30 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. By continuing to use the Service after these revisions, You agree to be bound by the updated terms.
