Derek hurried to pull out my chair.

“Have a drink,” He purred through his elongated canines.

“I hope you don’t mind if I have a drink as well,” Derek’s voice snaked through my mind, entangling itself with my consciousness.

He leaned in.

I hadn’t realized I was to be the main course.
