Vaccination Damnation

Ugly doctor’s office ceiling tiles spin while I rest. A regular visit yielded an unexpected bonus. “Surprise! You are allergic to Pneumovax!”

I have never even heard of a vaccine for Pneumonia.

First World Problems

Growling and grumbling
Disturbing the peace
Loud and obnoxious a/c
It’s the sacrifice to beat the heat

In Plain Sight

darkness-and-light.jpg

Trees sway
The end of day
Light is spent

Night calls
Darkness falls
The curtain closes

Supposing you were alone
The sudden audience you feel
The day somehow concealed
Comes as a surprise

Shadow Of Me

Shadow Of Me

Shadow Of Me

Sordid, honey smooth lies of a lover
rip away the light within her.
The woman crying for death
dreams of life after the ache.
“Diamonds are but ugly rocks,” she says, bitterly.
