The CSCS is the premier certification in the field of athletic development. It is administered by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), the leading organization in athletic performance training and an NCAA-approved entity. Earning the CSCS requires a bachelor’s degree and passing a rigorous exam. To maintain certification, professionals must complete 20 continuing education hours every three years.
