Loupes’ internal bore has been reamed.

Polished rings at ends and grained through body for finish & finger grip.

Recess for rubber ‘o-ring’ to stop the loupe slipping out of position.

Centre punch is being soaked (the punch is at the front & the bits at the back are for another project).

Punch is going to be quenched in old engine oil.

~§~
View through loupes’ optic.

CAD drawing below is for another project and the reason I wanted to make this tool.

O-ring fitted and held in place with epoxy glue.

~§~
Tool needs a case to protect the optic and keep the tool together.

~§~
Looking forward to using it for the next project…
