Cut to size, bevelled edges and stuck with industrial adhesive.

Form-work laid to pegged-out levels. Can pour concrete as individual panels, as and when.

Panel centre features; molds made out of cement, water and a little PVA glue.

Pattern mold made from coke bottle and a pen top lid…

Using crayon as a release agent…

Cement mix poured on top of mold to produce an inverted pattern…

Wood block stuck to back of inverted pattern as a handle…

Mix for medallions: 1 sand, 1 cement, 1 iron filings…

Inverted pattern into tube, mixture packed in & pressed out…

Wet medallions…

Dry medallions (to be used as a centre feature in each panel)…

Alternate panels poured (so I can work on each one without stepping on a previous wet panel)…

Medallions were pressed in after tamping & striking each panel.

Mix for panels: 1,3,3 (cement, sharp sand, ballast).
