We all know that children love the shiny displays of our computers, tablets or smartphones, and they also love banging on the keyboard and the mouse to create some reaction on the attached screens. As we love our children, we also know that brutally removing them from the proximity of our devices, just to avoid various issues and problems (like the devices getting broken or the kids involuntarily opening various apps), is out of the question, especially when we can see how much fun the little ones can sometimes have watching various things and activities on the displays. For such problems, a nicer solution is to use this small tool called KeyFreeze.

KeyFreeze is a tiny utility that does nothing else but quickly disables the keyboard and the mouse, allowing your kid to bang them as much as he or she likes, without affecting what's running on the computer. Therefore, the toddler can watch cartoons or other stuff on the screen and pressing the mouse or keyboard buttons won't change anything.

KeyFreeze is extremely simple. It only comes with a button to block the keyboard and the mouse, and no other options or features. To re-enable the keyboard and the mouse, just press Control+Alt+Delete to run the Windows' Task Manager and press Esc. That's all of it.

This simple little application is also free. In conclusion, I'd say it's worth a try. It's simple, but it gets its job done, and it can bring you a few moments of priceless relaxation.
