Chris Evans was born in Massachusetts on June 13, 1981. He began acting in 2000, appearing in guest roles on TV. He soon moved to film, appearing in Not Another Teen Movie (2001) as the guy dressed as a banana split.
Evans had a co-starring role in the SAT movie The Perfect Score (2004), and the suspenseful horror film, Cellular (2004), with Kim Basinger. He appeared in the super hero films Fantastic Four (2004) and its sequel, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007) as Johnny Storm / Human Torch.
In 2007, Evans appears onscreen again with Scarlett Johansson, his co-star from The Perfect Score. He plays her love interest in The Nanny Diaries.
