One thing about the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts is the Brilliant concept of its builders in creating interactive art installations outside its main building. And once you get inside one get awed on how its 3 other buildings were connected underground…vast collections of artworks beyond one’s imagination. Here is another art installation in human form made of steel, looking closely i noticed this artform -steel letters plated to resemble a human form, how ingenious and creative!
Walking in Winston Churchill square, i suddenly noticed a new building (welll, not that new really , but for me it looks new as the last time i was in this place, it was still under renovation.), The modern facade of The Art Gallery of Alberta gives a modern vibe to its old existence. This gallery showcases thousands of artworks , from paintings, scupltures and art installations. a must see once you’re in downtown Edmonton..
Never visit a country without visiting its museums. It’s like meeting a person without knowing his soul.
I love museums and galleries, so enriching to visit them. There’s something in it that nourishes my soul. I don’t really know why. Here i am visiting The Canadian Museum of Civilizarion , a great time after a long walk from downtown ottawa…..we literally walk all day throughout ottawa from the parliament to alexandra bridge to the museum and what a great way to end your walk by getting inside the museum, as history, art and culture walked you through a nation’s past, present and even the future, truly an enriching learning experience.
Votre Pays Votre Histoire Votre Musee (Your Country, Your History, Your Museum….Very catchy slogan displayed in front of the Canadian Museum of Civilization. I hurriedly posed , went inside and learned from it. Too many pictures to show, so might as well show you some on my next post.
