Accessibility Statement

We want everyone who visits the JCB website to feel welcome and to find the experience rewarding. As part of this ambition, the JCB is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for anyone with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience and applying relevant accessibility standards.

What are we doing?

To help make the JCB website a positive experience for everyone, we have been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, which explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and user-friendly for everyone.

The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA, and AAA). We’ve chosen Level AA as the target for the JCB website. While we have constructed the bulk of our site to conform with WCAG 2.1 level AA, we have also identified areas of improvement to better assist our users. These areas are listed under the heading “How are we doing?”.

We have also taken the following measures to ensure accessibility:

  • Access is a prominent component of our mission statement.
  • Accessibility is a priority in our internal policies.
  • Clear accessibility targets and responsibilities exist within the organization.
  • Our site was built with accessibility in mind by our external web vendor.

How are we doing?

We are working hard to achieve and maintain our goal of Level AA accessibility; we realize, however, that there are still some areas where we may fall short. If we are missing something or could do better, we'd love to hear from you. Our goal is continual improvement.
