Yeah, original plan was having different kinds of machines that really made you think about placement. However time wasn't on my side and it ended up not really mattering where you placed things

Yep, that's the integer limit and I didn't really think anyone would get there haha

Thanks for playing!

very satisfying to finally play one of those games from fake ads. Nice work!

Oh wow, I rearranged some things last minute and didn't realize the tooltips were getting cut off. Will fix it! Thanks for playing!

Thanks a lot for playing! Glad you enjoyed it :)

Yeah, I thought I had fixed that bug but there was another instance of it that was harder to replicate. It should be fixed now though! Thanks for playing and your kind words!

Thanks for enjoying it! I had ideas for a bunch more items but didn't have the time to make them.

Yeah the upgrade being dead center also tripped me up a couple times. I finally managed to fix the bug for good, so it should all work fine now :)

Haha I had a thought of allowing you to bind the mouse wheel to the click, but felt it might've been to much. Thanks for playing and enjoying!

Yep, it does get grindy towards the end. I always have the same issue in jam games where I leave balancing to the last minute when I'm already burnt out from the game, so I do a poor job at it haha.

Hahah thanks! I'm also not the biggest fan, but it's a genre that has always intrigued me and I wanted to test it out. Thank you for the kind words!

Finally had the time to fix that pesky bug! I already fixed a version of it, but there was another one lurking. It was an issue with the auto-click area, if you tried to drag while not actually having the cursor over any item it'd crash.
Thanks for playing and your kind words!

What an insane game to submit for a game jam, my mind is blown. 10/10 no notes, I absolutely loved every second of it.

Hello

Really nice SFX, the sword attack and the parry effects were super juicy. Nice job!

Loved the art and the different take on rock paper scissors gameplay. Nice job!

Man, it took me a while to get used to the way it is controlled, but then I actually had a really nice time playing! Would love to see some more levels!

Got a 67.66% score, which given how long it took me to realize the number of syllables corresponded to the number of cuts in that specific fruit, it's not too bad hahah. I thought it was 1 cut per fruit and was wondering why there were not enough fruits for the beats on the song.

A ton of fun!

Really smooth hand animations, for some reason that gave it a ton of character and made it look super polished, specially when you 9or the cpu) grab the pot.

Nice work!

damn, that got hard really fast! loved the ideas, and super intuitive, didn't really need much explanation, other than the start of day drink to the owner which I really liked as a way of explaning the rules.

Nice work!

I had a hard time figuring out the game to be honest, I never felt I was doing things, even if I was. First few runs I just died before knowing what was happening. Could really do with a tutorial of sorts.

That being said, I really liked the magika-like spell system!

That's honestly very impressive, and it runs extremely well even on my potato of a laptop.

So simple, but addicting! Took me two secs to figure our clicking was just adding mult, not adding force to the pebble. Had to max out everything to see how far it could go haha. Nice job!

Hey, I'm so happy you enjoyed it and thank you so much for all the detailed feedback!

You're not the only one who missed the screen could be moved, should've communicated that better. The game is indeed very easy, since it was for a cozy jam I wanted it to be very chill, but I probably went to far. The clues are revealed when you place a related feature, so if the clue is "Next to a Birch Tree" then it would uncover if you placed a birch tree (unfortunately this system encourages spamming down features to get all the clues.

It was quite a long jam, but I could only spend about a week on the game in the end. Definitely a lot I could've polished, like bird behaviours when there are too many of them.

I'm actually working on a full version of the game that should address all of these points. Hopefully I manage to do bring the vision to its full potential :D

Thank you so much for the feedback! This version is quite shallow, so my main goal is to add depth. Happy to see I'm on the right track.

Thank you so much! I’m really glad the atmosphere resonated with you. I’m starting to expand this into a full project and I’m wondering, did the pace at which new birds and features appeared feel natural to you, or were there moments where it felt like things were moving too quickly or slowly?

Thank you so much! I'm so glad you enjoyed it :)

Thank you so much for this message, I really appreciate it. You're not the only one that had trouble figuring out you could move the camera, there really was nothing to indicate you could other than the game page.

I had the same feeling about more strict placement, it originally was more like Islanders where you had bonuses and penalties depending on what was adjacent to what you were placing, but it felt off. In the end I went with the super chill just placing things, and I'm very happy with the result. I'm now sketching out what a full release would look like, as I really enjoyed making it and feel like there's potential for more.

Thank you so much!

Thanks! The water is not actually too complicated. First you draw whatever you want reflected into a canvas, in my case it's the ground, trees and birds. Then you flip that upside down and pass it through a water distortion shader. Then there's a bit of tint to make it blue-ish. I followed this post from the Kingdom developer https://forums.tigsource.com/index.php?topic=40539.msg1104986#msg1104986

I'm sorry but the art is absolutely gorgeous. I really can't stress it enough, it is literally stunning, I'm obsessed.

I got hooked, completed year one in 22 days with 1306 leaves and all research done! I got a bit frustrated as sometimes the controls would "catch" after jumping and I needed to move around to get them unstuck. Other than that I had a real good time. Good job!

Really charming little game! Loved the vibe and the visuals pulled me in right away. The core loop is super satisfying, and I ended up playing longer than I meant to lol. A couple things felt a bit finicky here and there, but nothing that took away from the fun. Great work, thanks for sharing!

Oh man I love me some procedural generation. Really nice way of hooking it up to a gameplay loop too! I also want to call out the beautiful vines on the UI elements. Nice work!!

Amazing art and characters. The details on the turkey both the close up and the smaller sprite are really well done!

I love the intro, how determined she is at making tea so people are happy! I missed a bit more feedback when catching the ingredients as I wasn't sure if I was doing it correctly at first. Good job!

I had a chuckle when I first patted the mushrooms. I really liked having to grab falling leaves to get more resources! Nice little cozy experience!

Really cozy, the sound of the train in the background was really nice. I'd see myself having this on the background while working (instead of rain sounds lol).

Man, that intro was a trip haha

Really cool 3D / 2D effect! Loved the croaks, what a fun idea t add to the game :D
