Really nice game and aesthetic but are my teammates supposed to just disappear after a set time or is this a bug? Seems weird for an idle game if it's intended.

In an attempt to be fair and objective I decided to give the game another try. Starting from the prologue I still think it was written with help from AI, but the interlude and the bit of ch.1 I've made it to are almost completely without those same patterns. Idk what changed but interlude and ch.1 feel like a well written human made story. I feel no shame in admitting I could be wrong and since I can't be sure I will delete my original comment. I also offer an apology to the author if this story was made 100% without ai writing.
Yes and I'll add context here. I used to be pretty into chatbots before I learned the perils of AI and the theft that occurs for it to be able to produce these types of stories. I also read a decent amount of old fantasy books, the kind that give AI that general writing style.
To me if feels pretty obbious just reading the prologue that it's at least written with the help of ai with some of the more obvious and repetative patterns removed or reworded. If people enjoy that it's their prerogative but its personally annoying to search for these types of games with the no ai tag and still find them which is why I left my original comment.
Like the game's concept art and gameplay but there are some problems.
Actual bug: If you press E too fast on the portal you get a blackscreen that requires refresh.
Critique: My main reason for stopping is constantly getting stuck on trees and stuff in combination with the frame drops/lags on map 2. Idk if its because of the rain but map 2 is super laggy which makes it feel like youre moving slow af and personally, it's incredibly annoying to get stuck on random shrubs/trees. I'm sure this is a gameplay design aspect that im just not a fan of. Also, would be nice if hold to deposit didnt deposit everything at once, maybe a grdual increase of speed.
Hello I suppose these are the comments. Overall super fun, time just flew playing this and I think im up to 2 1/2hrs as im deciding to call it quits (for now).
Critiques: I struggled to understand the point of moving on to the second map, I just consitently got more resources from dirt map. Maybe cap 1st map out at a certain point to force map 2. Maybe can only get gold+ from map 2? Could be any reason really. Anyway, I also would like if weapons auto switched in the order you equip them. The hotkeys are nice but when you have 3 cycling them in the specific order you want to use them becomes tedious, this was actually my main reason for stopping my session.
And thats it! Super addicting with nice explosion/fire art. Ran really well on my crappy laptop with only some lags here and there when using the sniper. Wishlisted and looking forwards to playing more
Wow really fun, was actually sad when I maxed out the upgrades, wanted to get all the skills too haha.
Couple things: Chests are BROKEN, i loved it but getting so much gold makes you outpace upgrades from skills and it'd be nice to have skills relavent longer. Last thing is maybe have artifacts menu scale with zoom out as I could barely read the description of the Treasure Map. Otherwise no complaints.
Lol sorry I guess I meant floors, but to be fair I don't see a label telling me that what im in is a floor or a room. Dumb players like me forget things from the tutorial so something spelling out where I am would be appreciated. Also maybe consider adding hotkeys?
I think the "space is limited" thing is whats confusing me. What is the limit and where is that number located?
Also gotta add I'm impressed with just how much stuff there is to do. The study aspect in particular i think is very cool. Clearly a lot of passion here.
EDIT: Is there currently a way to see what class your heros promote to? Also, I assume the " p " number on the hero's is their promotion level, but I think that could be made more clear. Is there a reason the number keeps going up though? I hired a lvl 13 with a 17p but when it hit 17 the p number just went up.
Completed the first 4 floors. I liked pretty much everything about the game. My only problem is the assignment page for the dungeon is very confusing. It'll say 1/1 but then allows me to add 5 more people and its 1/6, sometimes 2/6. What does that mean? Am I putting too many people on one assignment or am I increasing the max amount of people able to take that assigment? Is the assignment limit for the floors 1? I can't tell if my production is increasing from the extra people assigned or not. With the constantly fluctuating numbers of adventurers, it would be nice to have a resource production tracker somewhere. Also, I have no idea where the "Guide" button is, Otherwise, very fun and looking forward to updates.
