Performers wearing matching uniforms on stage holding lights with "JAPAN EXPO" sign

Japan Expo is an exciting high school event where Japanese language students share their knowledge and creativity with the rest of the school. The event not only helps Japanese language students showcase what they’ve learned, but also introduces others to the rich and fascinating culture of Japan in a fun and interactive way. Exchange students from Naga High School, who are visiting IHS this week, demonstrated traditional Japanese dance and song.

Meet Principal Erin Connolly

Hello, Eagle families! One of the best parts about being a principal is getting to build relationships with students, staff and families. A few fun facts about me: My family immigrated to the United States in the 1920s from a tiny island off the west coast of Ireland. My favorite young adult book is “A Tree Grows in Brooklyn.” I enjoy listening to folk music, and if I could only eat one type of food for the rest of my life, it would be tacos. My bucket list includes traveling to all of the continents.
