Character Information
General
Canon Source: Pandora Hearts
Canon Format: Manga.
Character's Name: Glen Baskerville
Character's Age: 25
What form will your character's NV take? A small black bird, no larger than maybe a canary. It’s eyes function as a camera; what it sees, will be recorded/shown. A small collar-like device around the bird’s neck has a mini-projector built into it to display the video [or texts] out of those speaking to him and has a microphone in it’s head [hidden] and is capable of speech to text while all of the functions are simply voice activated.
[it’s a little technologically advanced but it’s all i could think of ;;]
Abilities
Character's Canon Abilities:
Being the head of the Baskerville family, Glen has five chains that he controls. That would be raven, dodo, griffin, owl and jabberwocky and he can bring them out at will without needing a contract seal like some do within canon. Each chain can all open a path to the very core of Abyss and have their own respective abilities that coincide with each one, making them formidable weapons, though the abilities of only four of them are known in canon:
Raven - Has the ability to seal power and is able to teleport it's owner just about anywhere when they wish it.
Dodo - Is capable of making believable illusions that are powerful and it's hard to discern with them what is reality and what isn't.
Owl - With this chain, it has the power to attach invisible threads to people that the contractor can use to follow their path. Giving it a tracking ability that the other chains do not have.
Jabberwock - This one is more of a brute force chain and being massive in size, it has claws and sharp teeth to attack with and is capable of flight without any trouble.
From the time when he had served under the previous Glen, it’s been shown that he’s quite agile and has quick reflexes and it is hinted that he’s quite talented with weapons, being able to use a sword, a dagger and so on as he learned how to use them when he had been serving the previous Glen. Likely it was a talent he had to learn to be a proper head of the family and while it is smaller, It’s believed he did like playing on the piano as both him and his sister did seem to have a musical inclination growing up in that household.
Weapons:
It’s implied that Glen carried around with him a sword at all times but it would be hidden by the large cloak he normally wears around the manor and that would be brought with him as well as naturally the five chains he’s contracted to but that’s not so noticeable unless he summons them at will.
History/Personality/Plans/etc.
Character History: That would be Here
Point in Canon: Pre-Tragedy of Sablier. Well, due to canon still revealing what’s happening pre-tragedy i’m going off of the flashbacks we’ve seen canonically in what events have happened and headcanoning a few details. The things that have happened prior to his arrival is that after he took the name of Glen Baskerville, his sister was sacrificed to Abyss and they were somehow left with this girl named Alice, the Baskervilles keeping her in the tower Lacie used to live in when she’d been alive, erecting a grave on the Vessalius property in Lacie’s name despite there not being a physical body to bury.
Glen and Jack became closer of friends and he adopted a new little Baskerville/servant named Gilbert while Jack took care of Vincent, Gilbert’s brother. As to the last thing that happened to Glen before he arrived at the port is that Jack had just created a pocketwatch for him that played the melody ‘Lacie’, written in her name by Glen himself.
Character Personality:
Glen is the type of guy who’s quite calm, collected and rarely talks to few people, making him a bit socially inept when it comes to interactions. He’s quiet and does seem a bit lonely, though it’s sometimes hard to do as Jack bothers him often and seems so boisterous, cheerful and an opposite to Glen’s almost sullen attitude. Though he does try to understand people and how they act, upon first meeting Jack in person saying the man reminded him of ‘clear water that you can’t see into and can only see yourself instead of him’, making it hard to see the real him. When Jack never questions some things, he’s had to stop and ask him just WHY he never asked about it, and he seems far from the type of guy who gets mad so easily. Patience is another trait he seems to exude with that same note of how it takes a bit to anger him, allowing someone like him to be able to handle Jack, trying so hard to understand him and almost seems to have a fascination with him at times at how he’s researched the man before they had even met.
When it comes to his servant, Gil, it’s been hinted that he’s a kind man, treating him well and he cares a lot for him. It’s a touch of a speculation but there is the idea that he almost sees Gilbert as a son, considering it’s doubtful he would ever marry with a woman considering how the Baskerville line is. He’s quite gentle despite what it seems, as even birds will flock to him and sit on his head when he’s alone, which leads to saying that he does prefer to be by himself a lot of the time, spending a lot of time out in the forest nearby the Baskerville manor simply thinking or anything else but somehow Jack always seems to be the one who finds him. Where it concerns Jack, while Glen doesn’t talk a lot, he has told him that he ‘talks five times more’ around him than he ever does with anyone else, and because the man is his friend, he lets his guard down around him and as commented on by Lotti/Charlotte, he smiles more when Jack is around.
It hasn’t been shown canonically [and probably will happen in the next chapter or next] but Lacie is going to die and that does affect him and his personality, leading to why he’s become more withdrawn and quiet as he does miss her. Her death also lead to unhinging him a little and revealing a bit more of a violent side to him that he didn't entirely hold beforehand. It was because she had been his sister and she meant a lot to him as they grew up together in the Baskerville household, though it’s unclear how he felt toward Alice – seeing as he locked her up in that tower – it’s surmised that it was simply to keep her safe from any threats as she was likely the only tie to Lacie they had left and to the Abyss. Thanks to Lacie’s influence, Glen had written a song in her name/memory, which was put into a pocketwatch to remember her by Jack.
He also is known for being quite the intuitive, observant young man, catching onto things easier than most people and holds a deep sense of loyalty to the man who held the name of Glen Baskerville prior to him, even after he's taken his name. Growing up in that household he did learn a lot when it came to loyalty and it's likely that nobody else could replace the man as his master.
One of his faults does happen to be that he’s so... apathetic and a lot of the time, he does give off the appearance he doesn’t care much for people’s opinions when in reality he simply just wants to understand people and their motives for doing things. Glen is quite resilient in that he could handle teasing thanks to the Glen who had the name before him, and he is also rather polite when he speaks to others but that could be said it was thanks to his upbringing. While this is a bit of simple speculation, I do believe he is the sentimental type, holding a soft heart and becoming attached to those close to him, which could be used against him as a bargaining chip if someone is aware of it.
Character Plans: I’ve wanted to play Glen Baskerville for quite some time and I haven’t until recently. I’d like to see how he reacts to being in such a place like the Port and the conflicting sides and all of that as it’s just so vastly different from his home and will be a little hard to adjust to but I really would like to play this out and see what kinds of connections Glen can make with people here.
Appearance/PB: Seen here.

[ The video feed first is a little shaky and almost blurry before it settles on Glen’s face, purple eyes staring rather intently into the camera of his NV with quite the displeased look on his face. ]
...Siren’s Port.
Is there anyone who could further inform me on the details given upon my arrival?
[ A thoughtful look and he seems to almost glower into the NV before his expression softens ]
Jack. If you are here as well I would appreciate if I heard from you.

Fingers lightly ghosted over the keys so gently; playing such a dark, bittersweet melody that filled the air around him.
Glen only dared look up when he finished, gloved fingers slowly drawing off and away from the polished ivory keys as he brought himself to stand wordlessly. It wasn’t at all much of a consolation but while he spent his time at the port, this had been one thing he was thankful for. Getting used to such a place was certainly a task in itself and he hadn’t known where to start after arriving in such a new, foreign place and no familiar faces. He couldn’t properly discern why someone would have brought him here to a place that seemed to be like the abyss with how dark, desolate and almost broken it was.
Being locked up here had left him feeling quite... concerned as well.
Gilbert was only a small child and he was his responsibility now; he was of Baskerville blood and yet so small. The boy was his servant now and he wore such exuberant smiles when he came to serve him. Such energy was quite refreshing and he could not hold off the smiles that curled his lips while the boy was around. It was him and a few choice others that ever saw his walls fall down from the normal Glen Baskerville the others saw day to day, which simply reminded him that here he felt almost lonely without the knowledge his family was not here to go back to when he left the manor to get those quiet, rare moments of peace to himself.
With the new influx of Baskervilles starting to arrive, Gilbert, Alice and Jack to contend with, he had needed times when he could just escape to think on things when he so wished.
Now he found himself wishing for their company, so he would no longer feel quite so empty in this world that was not his own.
