EYEcon brings together Alberta artists working in contemporary craft to explore the eye as both form and function. Through glass eyes, carved surfaces, woven fibres, metals, and repurposed materials, the exhibition renders vision as something constructed and shaped by technique, repetition, and material choice. Across jewellery, textiles, and sculpture, the eye becomes both witness and ornamentâa point of tension between interior and exterior experience. Visitors are invited to look closely, reflecting on what it means to observe and be observed, and how attention is shaped by what we make and how we see.
