INARA

Syria Country Office

Supporting vulnerable communities

Since 2015, the International Network for Aid, Relief, and Assistance – INARA has been supporting conflict-impacted Syrian children and their families in the countries where they sought refuge, with most cases concentrated in Lebanon and Türkiye.

We initially had a limited presence in Northwest Syria, primarily through partner organizations, following the Kahramanmaraş earthquake. Our efforts focused on supporting local communities with sanitation, hygiene, and mental health and psychosocial activities.

Mental Health and Psychosocial Support:
We have recently established centers in Daraya, Rastan, and Sahnaya, where we carry out MHPSS activities to support children affected by recurring conflicts in Syria.

Medical Interventions:
Through our mobile clinic, we provide essential diagnostics, treatment, and medication to the most vulnerable families.

Our work in Syria is still in its early stages. We are currently conducting a comprehensive needs assessment to expand into more cities and offer a wider range of services tailored to local needs.
