Ashrith G reposted thisAshrith G reposted thisIf I had to sum up last week’s Tech HR Singapore event in two words, it would be "calm enthusiasm". The vibe was energetic but not rushed. There were always lots of people all around, but it never felt crowded. For furo.fit, this turned out to be one of our best tech HR events, ever! Singapore's wellbeing culture is amazing and that reflected in all conversations we had at our booth. How we use it currently and plan to use AI, our community-first focus, mental wellbeing emphasis, how physical wellbeing leads to mental wellbeing - we had amazing conversations and got some amazing insights as well. There were some interesting discussions on ROI of workplace wellbeing as well. Will cover that in a later post though :) Thanks to the People Matters team, they do a great job with these events! My son saw first-hand what “non-laptop” work really looks like, a lot of it just chatting and connecting with people :) #wellbeing #workplacewellbeing #singaporewellbeing #employeewellness #fitness

These not only feel good to read and share, but they also uplift the team and infuse enthusiasm to keep giving their best. Ashrith G shared thisAshrith G shared thisJust like #internationalwomensday, every day is a #worldhealthday. Inspired by Nithin Kamath's post on his teams' transformations, sharing some of our team's transformation as well: Ashrith G (co-founder) was deep into #meditation and #mentalwellbeing when we met, and was looking for some push to get physically more active. He used to walk from home to office and vice versa and that set him up for his first 10k at the TCS 10k in Bangalore. The left pic is from his first run, in which he walked most of it and ate about half a dozen bananas! The running bug bit him post this and he lost about 18kg in an year. This transformation also laid the foundation for furo.fit, our fitness startup. Shipra Choudhary (founding member), my wife, got into running because she used to get bored while I was out there running in races, before we had our kid. She progressed and ran multiple half and full marathons and even won podium finishes in some of them. Then, she put on 16kg during pregnancy and had to start from scratch post that. She prioritised her fitness, built a strong support system and got lean in about 10 months. Whenever she doubts herself on anything, I just remind her of this amazing transformation she went through. My story is of someone who got lazy in his late 20s, like many of us, was a regular smoker, but was uneasy about all this. My love for sports was very innate, and running happened to me as a sport I could play without needing a partner. The left pic below is from my first long run (26k at Bangalore Ultra), which I signed up impulsively. The bug got in, took it's own sweet time to manifest, but when it did, I was only thinking about running and eating cleaner and getting faster. The value we get out of prioritising fitness and wellbeing can't be quantified. It's very innate and once you experience it, you won't let it go. Wising everyone all the best in finding joy in their fitness journeys. You might be just one brave run or workout session away from a lifelong transformation. #wellbeing #fitness #tranformation #fitnesstransformation #running

Ashrith G liked thisAshrith G liked thisI introduced Table Tennis to my nine year old about a month back. One basic drill that helps beginners with ball control is ball bouncing. After a few days at this, when his count started crossing 15-20 bounces, I felt the need for an auto bounce detector, but couldn't find anything online. So I built one using ChatGPT, and it kind of works. This uses audio detection to count bounces and saves the rounds (for a single session, till you refresh). In 2026, if you have an idea, AI tools can help get a usable, testable version ready in a few days, if not hours. We are truly living in amazing times. Link to the tool in the first comment. Try it out and let me know!

Ashrith G liked thisWhen I posted “come join us and watch the magic that happens”, in June, even I wasn’t expecting the transformation unfolding everyday, right under my nose in real-time in our challengers! I was happy to guide the group and plant the seed of thought in about 20 folks: ➡️ how to really read and interpret food labels ➡️ how sugar is not a source of energy ➡️ how a low carb lifestyle is always greater than genetic predisposition (my favourite!) Come join me and Sumit on 18-July for 21 days, for an eye-opening experience! 🤩 This challenge is being hosted on the furo.fit app, built by Abhishek Roy and Ashrith GAshrith G liked thisLast month, dozens proved it’s possible to break free from sugar’s grip. This month, it could be you. Will you take our "21-Day No Sugar Challenge?"💪 Last month, we ran our first-ever 21-Day No Sugar Challenge. I didn’t expect the stories that came back. - A dad who gave up sugar in chai and now prefers it that way. - A mom whose 9-year-old started reading sugar labels at the grocery store. - A young professional who lost 2-3 kg, but said the real win was mental clarity and better sleep. - And dozens who said: “I feel in control again.” This wasn’t just about removing sugar. It was about reclaiming agency. And now... we’re back. Our second batch of the 21-Day No Sugar Challenge kicks off on 18th July. We guide you through the entire journey with: ✅ Daily tracking in an app ✅ A private support group that won’t let you fall ✅ A certified metabolic coach ✅ Sugar detox roadmap ✅ Certificate + digital badge + exclusive fridge magnet on completion ✅ AND lifetime access to our Sugar-Free Circle Honestly, it's not about the 2 or 3 kg weight loss. It’s about saying “I did it” and knowing you can do hard things. Fighting sugar addiction is our mission. And this challenge is our way of walking the talk with you. If you’re ready for a reset, drop a ✅ in the comments or DM me “I’m in,” and I’ll send you the signup link. Limited spots. But unlimited support. This isn’t about restriction. It’s about FREEDOM. #21DayNoSugarChallenge #SugarFree #CommunityHealth #ZeroSugar #HealthyLifestyle Artinci Aarti Laxman furo.fit

Ashrith G liked thisAshrith G liked thisOver the years, a lot of people have asked me why do I run. So, I thought of writing a poem on it: Why do I run? ==•===•===== I run because I am kind of shy I run because one day, we all are gonna die I run because life isn’t a bed of roses It comes with fears and heartbreaks in doses I run to feel exposed and still feel secure I run to get distilled, I run to feel pure I run because I was bullied in school I run because it is my coolest self-respect tool I run because my mind is a f***ing monkey I run because sweating it out is actually funky I run so I can savour a guilty bite I run to let go, to make wrongs feel right I run because it pushes my limits I run to love myself, to boost my spirits I run to practice life in hard mode I run to be able to take the less-taken road Running is my uncertainty, running is my sure Running is my rebel code, running is my cure I run because seeing me you might do too I run because we are all born runners, that’s what runners do This is coming right from the heart, written right after the bitter-sweet combo of tiredness + relief of a long run a few weeks back. #Running #Life #Poetry #JFR

Most HealthTech founders mistake early traction for product love. It’s usually just distribution debt. According to the NITI Aayog HealthTech Innovation Report, only 1 in 5 pre-revenue startups in India can clearly explain their CAC model. At Freeflow, we’ve seen this gap firsthand. We’ve built CAC systems from scratch, where even the marketing leads weren't sure what to optimize for. The reality of fundraising is simple: If your CAC is "ballpark," your GTM is just a guess. And guesses don't survive due diligence. DATAgs Flow: A startup diagnostic series by Freeflow

𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗗𝟮𝗖 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘀. 𝗔𝗺𝗮𝘇𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝟳 𝗗𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀. 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲'𝘀 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗹. Amazon's trailing twelve-month revenue hit ₹57.6 lakh crore ($691 billion). Product sales? Only 42%. The other 58% is a revenue diversification playbook every D2C founder should copy. 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗔𝗺𝗮𝘇𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆 Online Store: 42% (₹24.2L cr) Third-Party Services: 23% (₹13.3L cr) AWS: 16% (₹9.2L cr) Advertising: 7.5% (₹4.3L cr) Subscription: 7% (₹4L cr) Physical Stores: 4% (₹2.3L cr) 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗗𝟮𝗖 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻 𝐀𝐝𝐝 𝐚 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐲: 23% of Amazon's revenue comes from others selling on their platform – zero inventory risk. Could you let complementary brands sell through your site? Commission-based revenue scales infinitely. 𝐋𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡 𝐚 𝐒𝐮𝐛𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Prime generates ₹4L cr and makes members spend 2-3x more. Weekly boxes, exclusive access, VIP perks – recurring revenue beats one-time sales every time. 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜: Amazon makes ₹4.3L cr from advertising. You have traffic and audience attention. Start with affiliate links, then sponsored placements, brand partnerships. Traffic is an asset – stop giving it away free. 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡-𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐧 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬: AWS is 16% of revenue but 50%+ of profits. What's your high-margin play? Online courses, coaching, tools, SaaS products related to your niche. 𝐄𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞, 𝐃𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐥: Amazon's biggest wins came from building infrastructure others need – fulfillment, cloud, payments. What does your industry struggle with that you could solve and monetize? The lesson? Revenue diversification isn't a nice-to-have. It's how you survive when CAC spikes, margins compress, and competition intensifies. Stop selling one thing. Start building seven revenue streams. Picture: Respective Owner #amazon #D2C #revenue #growth #strategy

Longitudinal Outcomes of Man-Sharing for Women • Nonresident fatherhood • Multiple-partner fertility (MPF) children with different mothers • Polygynous or quasi-polygynous households • Serial cohabitation / serial partnerships • Low paternal investment / divided paternal attention 1. Chronic attachment insecurity Women in man-sharing structures show higher lifetime rates of: • Anxious attachment • Hypervigilance • Emotional suppression • Relational burnout Why: exclusivity is the primary stabilizer of adult romantic attachment. Chronic competition erodes safety. 2. Higher rates of depression & anxiety Long-term studies associate non-exclusive partnerships with: • Major depressive disorder • Anxiety disorders • Somatic stress symptoms This persists even when income is high. Wealth buffers material stress not attachment stress. 3. Reduced lifetime economic stability Even when partnered with wealthy men: • Women experience income volatility • Fewer shared assets • Lower retirement security • Higher caregiving burden without reciprocal investment This shows up 20–40 years later, especially in older age. 4. Erosion of social capital Over time, women in these arrangements report: • Reduced peer support • Social isolation • Stigma (especially later in life) • Less intergenerational family cohesion
