The International Federation of Nurse Anesthetists (IFNA) is a global organization representing national nurse-anesthesia associations and individual practitioners across continents. Our purpose is to support the highest level of anesthesia care by advancing education, setting professional standards, and promoting collaboration among nurse anesthetists worldwide.
Education & Program Approval (APAP)
We support the development of strong nurse-anesthesia education programs and provide guidance through the IFNA Program Approval Process (APAP). This process helps schools align with global standards and promote safe, consistent training.
