Cat Friendly Programmes

At International Cat care we have developed and continue to develop programs to inspire positive changes in feline welfare for individuals and organisations.

Cat Friendly Clinic

The Cat Friendly Clinic programme was established in 2012 to help veterinary clinics create an environment that was more sympathetic to cats’ needs. Research has confirmed that caregivers recognise veterinary visits are stressful for their cats and this in turn causes stress to themselves, which cat friendly staff and facilities can help to reduce.

Cat Friendly Solutions for Unowned Cats

iCatCare has created Cat Friendly Solutions for Unowned Cats to support those who work on the front line in helping unowned cats with information and guidance all in one place. It has been carefully collated, gathering together iCatCare’s feline expertise and great things from other organisations working with unowned cats.

The Easy to Give Approved Licensing Scheme

iCatCare developed the easy to give scheme  recognising that giving medicines and treatments to cats can be very stressful for them, their owners and even for vets. In 2005, the International Society of Feline Medicine began a campaign to encourage pharmaceutical companies who produced medicines for cats to consider the ease with which owners could use them.
