ORIGIN
我們是一群由蘇黎世聯邦理工學院(ETHZ)、法國航空學院(ISAE-Supaero)、台大機械、台科機械、成大航太、國防大學等成員組成的團隊。透過大學時期實驗室、工作職場(新創機器人公司等)等關係而結識。成員多從2014年的hydro版開始投入ROS相關領域的開發與研究。

相較於歐美、日本、南韓與中國等ROS社群的蓬勃發展,台灣在這方面只停留在某幾個學校的實驗室應用層級。另外,中文教材的缺乏以及無龐大本土社團的支持(相較於arduino or python) 使得願意投入這個知名且強大的機器人開發平台的人較少,或是不知該從何下手。因此,我們決定在工作/課業之餘, 投入推廣ROS,以國外知名大學教材(如 MIT/Penn RACECAR, TUM Autonomous Drone, etc ) 為基底推出相關課程。另外亦提供線上一對一教學/技術支援,提供一個專業管道協助解決開源軟體常碰見的硬體配置、韌體安裝、軟體編譯/使用、編程與演算法等問題。也會不定期於此平台與FB粉絲頁分享教學文章與開源程式碼。
