Welcome

The Creative Coding Collective (CCC) is a volunteer-run, self-funded community of many 100s of creative developers, technologists, and industry specialists. We focus on collective action over individual complaints – building real solutions to shared challenges.

How We’re Organized

Funding: Everything is volunteer-run and self-funded by members. No corporate sponsors, no full-time staff.
Collaboration: We facilitate self-organizing teams around shared problems. You choose your involvement level.
Platforms: We use three main platforms, all connected.
Membership through personal referral: See
https://hub.creativecodingcollective.org/joining-the-creative-coding-collective-slack/

1. CCC Slack

  • We use the free tier: Messages become inaccessible after 90 days
  • Archive solution: We’ve got a workaround for the limitations of the free tier and all public messages are automatically saved to our searchable archive
  • Privacy: Direct messages are never archived

2. CCC Hub.

  • Purpose: Project proposals, documentation, member resources
  • Access levels: Most content is private (members-only)
  • Public content: Only items marked “Public” are visible to non-members

3. CCC Wiki

  • Purpose: Community knowledge base and documentation
  • Access Level: Most content is private (members-only)
