How About Tech started with a spark of an idea – a tech portal that doesn’t keep you waiting and delivered the news in its basic form, no noise, no fluff. Since then, it’s grown into a platform where local IT communities across Romania can make progress visible, connect, and collaborate.
We’re not just global, we’re local too. And we don’t just write about community, we build it. Through IT BBQ Festival in Brașov and Iași, we brought together 1,800+ tech professionals and 150+ kids, mixing industry talks with a LEGO Robo Party for the little (and not so little) engineers, games, giveaways, burgers, and ice-cold drinks, because networking works best with a smile and a full plate.
We also create and support larger conversations that shape the region, through projects like the West Digital and Innovation Summit, bringing top industry speakers to explore AI, cloud, smart mobility, startups, digital infrastructure, and local talent; and Timișoara Revoluționară, a long-term platform built with the community to discover, document, and share real impact stories, showing the city as it truly is: in constant transformation.
Our tone? Tech-savvy, but human. Friendly, but sharp. We cover everything from AI and cybersecurity to gadgets, software, gaming, startups, and the people behind them.
