Deck the Walls - Wreath Contest

This holiday season, let your creativity shine and join us for our Deck the Walls Wreath Contest! We invite you to create a wreath that embodies the spirit of Christmas and transforms the walls. Contestants must fill out and submit a form, along with a photo of the wreath, and a $10 entry fee. Upon submission, you will receive ONE (1) complimentary ticket to the 2024 HollyDazzle.
 
How It Works:
  • Theme: Deck the Walls
  • Who Can Enter: Open to all!

  • Submission Deadline: All wreaths must be submitted by December 20, 2024
 
Contest Rules:
  • Wreath must be between 24 and 59 inches in diameter (top to bottom)
  • Wreath must be able to withstand outdoor weather conditions
  • Wreath must not contain any sharp or hazardous materials
  • Wreath will become property of the Michigan Renaissance Festival
  • Judged on December 23, 2024.
    • Judging will be based on creativity, theme, and durability
 
Prizes:
  • 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will receive prizes!

Ornament Extravaganza - Ornament Contest

Join us for an Ornament Extravaganza at HollyDazzle! Show off your holiday spirit by creating your own unique, hand-made ornaments to be adorned on the 2024 HollyDazzle tree. Contestants may enter up to ONE (1) ornament until November 28th. Contestants must drop off their ornament at the festival office ahead of time. Contestants receive ONE (1) free General Admission ticket to the 2024 Michigan Renaissance Festival.

  • Submission Deadline: All Ornaments must be submitted by November 28th. (Please note the office will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.)
 
Contest Rules:
  • Ornament must not weigh more than 1 lb.
  • Ornaments cannot contain any sharp or hazardous objects.
  • Contestants will be judged based on creativity, sturdiness, and relativity to the season.
  • Ornaments must include a hook or mechanism to attach to the tree.
  • Ornaments will become property of the Michigan Renaissance Festival.

Top it Off - A Tree Topper Showdown

Test your holiday handiness and enter your very own handcrafted tree topper in HollyDazzle’s new Top it Off: A Tree Topper Showdown. Contestants may enter up to ONE (1) tree topper until November 28th. Contestants must drop off their topper at the festival office ahead of time. Contestants receive ONE (1) free General Admission ticket to the 2024 Michigan Renaissance Festival.

  • Tree toppers cannot weigh more than 2 lbs
  • Tree toppers cannot contain any sharp or hazardous objects.
  • Contestants will be judged based on creativity, sturdiness, and relativity to the season.
  • Tree topper must have mechanism to place and stay on top of the Christmas Tree.
  • Tree toppers will become property of the Michigan Renaissance Festival.
