helping_asp

Thanks to everyone being so generous and wonderful, merfilly (Sharpest_Asp) now has reliable wheels for work.  Here is a post with photos.  Thank you again, everyone, so much.

We have reached the goal of $3000. Thank you so very much. The fund drive is now officially closed, but the celebration continues! Please consider claiming a thank you gift here (DW) or here (LJ) and leaving/answering prompts at the comment-fic party here (LJ) and here (DW) if you are so inclined.

Thank you again to EVERYONE who donated funds, offered their creativity/collectables/treats, signal boosted, tweeted, and otherwise lent their goodwill to this outpouring of generosity. This was one of the most inspirational events I have been a part of. I am completely in awe at the response, and believe it says a great deal about merfilly (Sharpest Asp) and how much they mean to so many people in various fandom communities.

And thank you, Asp, for giving us a chance to support and help you, the way you have helped and supported so many people/causes. 

ETA - Creators doing thank you gifts, please feel free to post or link them on this comm if you and recipient wish to.  It would be lovely to see the creativity that results for this. 

WOW! Update from merfilly merfily</lj> (Sharpest_Asp) - total in ChipIn and private donations stands at $2963 - just $37 shy of the goal. Because we have essentially reached the goal (in just 5 days! How is that even possible!), we are closing this drive at noon Pacific time. Thank you SO much!

Got an update from merfilly (Sharpest_Asp). The total of ChipIn and private donations now stands at $2783. That means we are only $217 away from the goal!!! Can we get there before the weekend ends? I think so!

You can help by being a responder to a prompt at the comment fic parties, and then you can leave a prompt of your own! So much fun!
