Team Requirements
- Teams must consist of a minimum of 1 member and a maximum of 4 members.
- There is a limited number of prizes available for each award.
Eligibility
- Teams must only include registered participants who are not organizers, volunteers, judges, sponsors, or in any privileged position at the event.
- All team members must be present at the event, but they can leave the venue for some time to work on their projects elsewhere.
- Projects may only be submitted in 1 track (Technical OR NonTechnical)
Idea Development
- Teams are allowed to use an idea they had before the event.
- Teams can work on ideas that have already been done.
- Teams can work on an idea they have worked on before.
- Teams can add new features to existing projects, but judges will only consider new functionality introduced or new features added during the hackathon in determining the winners.
Code Development
- Teams can use libraries, frameworks, or open-source code in their projects.
- Using previously developed code and open-sourcing it solely for the purpose of using it during the event is not allowed.
- At least 40% of your project's codebase must be original (not generated by AI, not built using open sourced or code written before hackathon.
- Teams must stop hacking once the time is up, but they are allowed to debug and make small fixes to their programs after time is up.
Submission
- To be considered for final presentation and judging, teams must submit their projects to Devpost by 11:59 PM Wednesday.
- However, once submitted, teams can continue working on their project until 11:00 AM Thursday to prepare for their demo and presentation.
- Projects that violate the Code of Conduct are not allowed.
Disqualification
- Teams can be disqualified from the competition at the organizers' discretion for breaking the Competition Rules, breaking the Code of Conduct, or other unsporting behavior.
