Eligibility

  • Open to students from tertiary institutions (ITE, Polytechnic, University).

  • Teams of 2 to 4 members.

  • At least one member must be enrolled at NUS.

  • Participation is free of charge.

 

Project and Submission Requirements

  • Choose one problem statement from the provided list.

  • Teams may use any programming language or framework.

  • Submissions must include:

    • Code repository (with README.md)

    • Pitch deck

    • Working demo

    • Prototype

  • Late submissions will not be accepted.

 

Prizes

  • 1st Place: SGD 500

  • 2nd Place: SGD 300

  • 3rd Place: SGD 200

  • 6-month Google Career Certification Licenses for all finalists

 

Judging Criteria and Winner Selection

1. Usefulness (40%)

  • How well does the solution address the NPO's problem?

  • Is the solution practical and scalable?

2. Creativity & Presentation (20%)

  • Does the solution offer a novel approach?

  • How effectively is the solution presented?

3. Technical Complexity (30%)

  • How sophisticated is the solution?

  • Are robust security measures implemented?

4. Documentation (10%)

  • Is the README.md comprehensive and easy to follow?

  • Does it clearly explain the solution and its implementation?
