My first encounter with golf was about five years ago when I got married. My husband, a big golf enthusiast, asked if I would join him in playing. After attempting to play 18 holes with him, I quickly realized that golf was not my forte, and it never would be.
So, you might wonder, why am I involved in the golf business if I’m not into the sport? There are two main reasons for this. First, golf is an incredible sport, regardless of whether you personally enjoy it or not. Like any competitive activity, it demands time, effort, focus, patience, and self-motivation. The game has a unique and addictive culture that draws many people, including my husband, who derive immense joy from dedicating themselves to it. My business aims to provide them with the resources they need to experience those joys.
This venture is our dream. Over the years, I’ve learned that achieving greatness in golf, much like building a successful business, requires dedication and passion. Golf allows me to pursue my passion, and in turn, we can help more golfers pursue theirs.
You might be curious about the name “Green On.” According to my husband, in golf, the most critical shot is the one that lands on the green, as it can lead to either a significant reward or punishment based on whether you hit the target. While I might not fully grasp its importance in the game, I understand that, like in golf, life also has essential aspects we should never forget—such as family, friends, health, honesty, care, forgiveness, and inclusivity. “Green On” serves as a daily reminder of these crucial elements in my life.
Moreover, “Green On” also symbolizes carrying on, as London, a green city fostering golfers, experiences a lull during the white winter. I envision creating a place where golfers can carry their happiness and passion regardless of the season and relish the fun of golf while enjoying life to the fullest. Achieving this vision won’t be possible without the support of all of you.
This is my story and this is my passion for make this dream real.
