Code of Conduct

Our hackathon is dedicated to providing a safe and comfortable environment and harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of the following:
  • gender
  • gender identity and expression
  • age
  • sexual orientation
  • disability
  • physical appearance
  • body size
  • race
  • ethnicity
  • nationality
  • religion
  • political views
  • previous hackathon attendance or lack of
  • computing experience or lack of
  • chosen programming language or tech stack
We do not tolerate harassment of hackathon participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery are not appropriate at any hackathon venue, this includes the following.
  • hacks
  • talks, presentations, or demos
  • workshops
  • any parties associated to the hackathon
  • social media
  • any other online media
Hackathon participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the hackathon without a refund (if applicable) at the discretion of the hackathon organizers. For more information regarding the code of conduct visit: https://hackcodeofconduct.org/ 

 

 

Rewards

10 Meal Credits and other prizes will be raffled off during our social on Thursday, July 8th, at 8:30 PM EDT!

  • All participants to register before June 20th will be entered into the raffle with 5 tickets!
  • For every workshop you attend, 10 tickets will be entered into the raffle with your name!
    • Attendance will be taken during the workshop via a Google Form. Please fill it out to earn your raffle tickets! If possible, make sure to join the Zoom meeting with your first and last name. 
  • Participate in our "GreenHouse Foodies" Social on Discord/Instagram to get an additional 2 tickets!

If your name gets pulled in the raffle, you will only receive your meal reimbursement if you send us your meal's receipt by July 11 at 9 am EDT and make a submission on Devpost by July 11 at 9 am EDT. Note that we can only reimburse your meal if you have a Canadian bank account.
