Education & Exchanges

Overview

For over 100 years, the United States and Greece have engaged in a cross-cultural educational exchange and cooperation. Our educational ties are renewed every year as thousands of U.S. and Greek citizens participate in cross-cultural educational programs in each other’s nations. We study, research, and work together in American schools in Greece, and Greek schools in the United States. Likewise, thousands of Greeks and Americans have participated in educational exchange programs sponsored by the Greek Fulbright Foundation and other organizations. Greece and the U.S. can be proud of these deep educational ties that play such an important role in creating mutual understanding between the U.S. and Greece.

In this section, you will find information about educational programs in Greece with an American connection, as well as information about the U.S.-Greek Fulbright Foundation, American Studies programs, and teacher resources. If you do not find what you are looking for, please contact our Information Resource Center for further information.
