📚 Context

This PR fixes a regression in reported by @snehankekre, where the help tooltip in st.metric would show up in the wrong place.

🧠 Description of Changes

  • Added display: flex; to StyleTruncateText so we can place the (?) icon next to the label;

  • Added overflow: hidden; to the StyledStreamlitMarkdown label container;

  • Added overflow: hidden; and text-overflow: ellipsis; to the actual <p> tag inside the label container.

    • This is a breaking API change
    • This is a visible (user-facing) change

From the testing that I did yesterday / later today too, you need ellipses to appear by setting display to "inline-block" or "block". However, whenever I do that, it always makes it so the help icon doesn't fit.
